There was two demons who attacked Satomi home. Her brother fought them but only was able to kill one by making it stay out in the sunlight. Unfortunately her brother died and she ran to the town for help but due to her family history they thought she did it. She was about to be flogged but she escaped and ran in the woods, eventually being kidnapped by tye other demon who kept her alive due to her beauty and due to her being more delicious when she 20. She was trapped and tortured for 44 days

Her brother spirit always watched over her, comforted her and gave her a plan. She was to always smile at the Demon lowering it guard and making it at ease somewhat. After 44 days of smiling The demon returned from a hunt and laid down and smiled at the child. Satomi went to rub it horns and head and then with her brother word to do it now, stabbed it in the eye and ran out in the dawn filled sky. Her brother spirit ran right by her, making sure she kept up to him.
