I need to go to school. I need to go to school so bad.
Usually, I would be ecstatic to be doing school from home. But, this just isn't cutting it anymore.
I need to physically leave the house and do something. I've just learned being in the same house as my mother will not work.
But it's not even my fault, it's hers. It's like she's intolerable to be around.
Ming won't go to her for not a single thing. It's like she doesn't even want to talk or try and bond with her. So there's that...
Ocean, she's enjoying having both our parents home. But my mother did not like when she asked for me to do something, like feeding her or helping her with homework, instead of her.
"Onika?" I looked to see Ming at my door causing me to dart my eyes at my alarm clock.
"Ming, why're you home?"It was going on 9:30. She was supposed to be at school at 8...
"I need a ride to school. I woke up late.." I looked at her confused.
"Is Ocean still here?" She nodded her head. This is another thing! If it had been me alone, I would've made sure these girls were up and out the door on time.
My mother insisted on getting the girls up and out the door on time. But we can see how that went.
I guess I'll take some accountability because I usually wake up the earliest to wake them up. I just assumed since my mom said she was getting them up, I could attend my first period meeting on time.
I shook my head and walked out of my room and towards Oceans.
"Ming, make sure you have everything for school." I walked into Ocean's room and she was still in the bed.
"Ocean get up.. we have to get you to school." Ocean had popped right up out of her sleep. One thing I love about Ocean is she's easy to wake up. Especially, when it's about school. She loves school so much.
"Come on. Let's get you washed and stuff.." I started the shower, making sure it wasn't too hot for her and began to wash her body.
After washing her body, I allowed her to brush her teeth as I picked her clothes out. Which consisted of a simple pair of light blue jeans, some random Barbie shirt and her black uggs.
"I want to wear my pink uggs." I switched everything out and handed them to her.
"Come down to my room when you're finished getting dressed so I can do your hair." I gave her some privacy and walked down to Ming's room. She was laying down on her bed.
