Time really does fly by when you're just living. But this is the quickest I ever saw time fly. After high school? It's seems like the clock has been sped up. The moment I close my eyes, we are in a brand new day.
This past year has been very eventful. I've been in situations I've never thought I'd be in, I've gained new friends, I've lost some friends. Rocking with since middle school kind of friends, the ones that I was never supposed to lose. Frank and I had our differences but he was one of my closest friends, like a brother. So, yeah we would argue but we would bounce back after realizing it was childish.
This year was just totally different. And Brandy? That one hurt me most because she's been my girl since elementary school. We were attached to the hip, that was my best friend. For the fact that I had to cut her off because she wanted to be associated in someone else's antics because he was blowing her back out was not on my list of things to happen.
It's the fact I really never cut her off actually. I always lended my hand out to her and that hand is still there and always will be. I'm not petty.
I've spent every holiday with Onika. The fact that she and I lasted this long is very surprising to me and I'm quite happy. She just might be my high school sweetheart.
My parents adore her, Solange loves her as well. Her family is my family and vice versa. A lot of people just said it was a quick fling, or we were just blinded by young love but I quite don't see it that way. I see us lasting for a long time.
Onika and I definitely had our ups and downs but the fact that we are two mature young adults, I feel like that's what brought us through it.
Yes we are young, but there are people who were way younger than us and been together for over 60 years. I feel like love has no age limit.
Also for the fact that our attraction for one another is high. If the attraction or wanting for your partner isn't there, what's the point of the relationship?

Yes Kelly is still here and our friendship is actually stronger than what it was before. The day since the 4th of July, the girls have been instilling into her how she was still their girl and being by her side with everything going on with her mother. It got real messy.
