Levi left Eren by the door to his dorm. They had walked together, holding hands, from the place Eren had taken him after breakfast. Levi had asked a few more questions, which Eren had reluctantly answered. The grey eyes watched as the teen tensed up more as he pressed the issue. In the end, Levi left it alone. He changed the subject.

Eren was much happier talking about hockey. Apparently it was something he had been involved with since he was in kindergarten. Seeing the way his dark face lit up as he spoke about the sport he loved, made something break free in Levi's chest. He watched how animated Eren was explaining all the rules, penalties, or ways to get out of them, here he cheekily winked at Levi.

"I'll see you around, brat." Levi said as he walked backward away from Eren. That smile never left the teens face until he realized how late he was for practice. He waved to Levi dashing inside to get ready.

Levi walked the campus toward his own apartment. His blood was getting that familiar feeling again. He shook his head. Did he like killing? Was he any different from Kenny? He growled to himself. He didn't kill just to kill, not like his uncle. Levi killed those who deserved it. The world was a far better place without the people Levi ended, in it.

He opened the door. Erwin was sitting by the window, long legs crossed before him. He held a book that was open about half way. His blond head rested on the glass as he read. Levi was sure it was some historical thing. Erwin loved those. He strolled up to the blond. At first his eyes searched over the book before lifting to gaze out the window.

"Whose dying today?" Erwin asked seeing the look hidden in those grey steely eyes.

Levi didn't answer right away. In fact he found it hard to get the words to bubble up. The anger he felt toward the man was something he had only reserved for the one who had abused him. The man who had sat on his high throne looking down at the gutter, the very man who made it so that Levi's mother was "controlled". Watching him die had given Levi a freedom he never thought was possible. It was only as the man died that Levi thought it was possible he could be his killfa's father. They had the same eyes.

"Zeke Fritz." Levi spat the name. Erwin closed the book.

"Never heard of him." He stated. Levi blinked the sunlight out of his eyes.

"He may go by the name Zeke Yeager." His steel grey eyes met the cool blue of his friend.

"Eren?" Erwin breathed the name out.

"Apparently has an older half brother who found having sex with a child delightful." The way Levi spoke would have anyone else thinking he was detached from the situation, only those who knew him well could tell that Zeke's days were numbered.

As Erwin watched his friend, he knew those cold deadly eyes would be the last thing Zeke saw in this world. Levi was a killer, not because he wanted to be, not even because he was so good at it, but because he wanted to protect the world from scum like this Zeke.

"I'll find him." Erwin vowed.

Levi explained what he knew of the man, which was very little. Yet, he had faith in his best friend. Erwin had tracked down many others, on far less.

"Start by talking to Armin. I hear he is smart. He also has taken care of Eren all this time. He may know more than he wishes his friend to find out." Levi turned away.

"Levi?" Erwin called. The shorter man paused not turning back.

"This going to become a thing?" Erwin asked.

Levi's head dipped, he turned slightly toward the man behind him. "Not sure." He walked away before Erwin thought to ask anything else.

Levi worked late that night. He had sent Furlan home after their shift. Now he was just wondering around the fourth floor of the athletic dorm. So far he hadn't seen Eren. Armin came out of the elevator as Levi was coming down from a ladder. He had gotten the stuck on gunk off of a light fixture on the ceiling. Armin looked up at it.
