Chapter 17: Last day

Today is the last day that Rindou and Y/n will be alone together so Rindou thought of taking Y/n out to eat breakfast on a fancy restaurant.

"Get ready, we're going out, Y/n." Rindou said as soon as Y/n arrived downstairs.

"Where are we going?" Y/n asked Rindou as she walked towards the kitchen counter and started making herself some coffee.

Rindou held Y/n's hand to stop her from making her coffee before carefully giving her a cup of coffee.

"Oh, thank you. So? Where?" Y/n asked again as she was eager to know where they are going today consider how much she enjoys Rindou's company.

"Out to eat breakfast." Rindou replied with a warm smile.

"I don't like fancy food, to be honest... But since you're not used to cheap foods sure..." Y/n replied with a little bit of sadness in her tone and Rindou noticed this.

"There's a first time for everything. Get ready we'll go to a cheap restaurant then." Rindou said and went upstairs to get ready.

Y/n's eyes lightened up as she heard this and found herself slightly blushing before drinking her coffee.

"Don't drink too much coffee, you'll get full before we leave and it's not good for your health." Rindou yelled from upstairs.

Rindou's concern for Y/n is just too much for her that her face started turning bright red.

*at the restaurant*

Rindou took Y/n out and looked for a cheap restaurant. As soon as they found one, they went to choose the food of their desire and sat down to wait for it. When their food arrived, Rindou took the first bite and his face lightened up.

"I didn't think cheap foods actually tastes good..." Rindou said and took another bite of his food.

"It is, that's why I prefer these rather than the fancy ones." Y/n chuckled and started eating.

Rindou couldn't help himself but to stare at you while you enjoy your food. You noticed this and stopped eating before swallowing the food you were chewing.

"I don't think you want me to melt before my boyfriend comes home, right?" Y/n asked Rindou as he looks away in embarrassment.

"Sorry, your purple eyes are just attracting mine. Can't help it... Besides, with just a second of you looking at me, I already melt, honestly." Rindou said in a serious tone as he finishes his food.

"Why's that? Because im hot?" Y/n jokes before drinking some water.

"Yes." he replied making Y/n choke on her drink.

Rindou stood there knowing well enough that Y/n is just pretending to choke for unknown reasons.

"You should finish your food, we have other places to be at." Rindou state and places his utensils down at his plate.

"Why the hurry? We have so much time. We should enjoy the day and not think about the time, you know? The more you think of it, the faster it'll fly." Y/n replied and places her utensils down as well.

"Waiter, the bills please?" Rindou calmly yelled and Y/n burst out laughing as she heard this.

"In a cheap restaurant like this, you don't say those words. You approach the waiter/waitress and asks how much the food is and then you pay... Here give me the money and i'll pay" Y/n reached out to Rindou and recieved a huge amount of money... A thought came to her mind.

Y/n did pay for their food, thankfully she always eats at restaurants like this so she knows well enough how this places works. After she paid for the food, Rindou was confused why Y/n hasn't came back to their table so he looked around only to find her at the door, waving the remaining money he gave her to pay for the food. He knows it's his money but he also wanted to give it to her since she liked teasing him with it, but he didn't wanna ruin her mood by just letting her have the money so he pretended to take the money back. Y/n then ran to the car and locked all the doors without knowing that Rindou has the keys in his pockets. The car beeped before all the doors unlocked and Rindou got in the car.

"I think you forgot who's car this is, hm?" Rindou whispered which made Y/n sit down in silence.

"The money is still mine... Right?" Without eye contact not even facing him, Y/n asked Rindou before being pinned to her chair by Rindou who was leaning towards her.

"What are you doing, Rindou?!" Due to Y/n's surprise, she accidentally pushed Rindou way too hard by his nose pushing him back into his seat.

"I was just putting your seatbelt on, jeez what was that for?!" Rindou exclaimed as he held his nose.

"Oh, sorry, I thought you were about to-"

"Kiss you? Is that what you thought?" Rindou grabbed a box of tissue at the back seat as his nose was bleeding badly.

"I'll drive us home-"

"No, nuh uh, not on my watch you aren't. Izana will kill me if we ever get into an accident." Rindou Screamed and held the steering wheel so tight.
