The next day, Rindou thought to teach you to swim so he invited you to the beach for another lesson and as usual the beach is empty. Rindou probably paid the owner to ask everyone to leave again, it's nothing to be surprised about knowing how protective he could be.

"Ready?" Rindou asked while reaching his hand out.

"I'm born ready!" You confidently replied as you take his hand and followed Rindou to the shallow water.

For a few minutes, Rindou enjoyed teaching you how to swim not because he's alone at the beach with you but also because he gets to hold your hand and waist while helping you to swim. With too much enjoyment, you didn't notice how Rindou turns red whenever you hold his hand and laughs.

"It's been a few minutes already, we should get off the water, you'll get cold if we stay any longer." Rindou said while looking at the cottage where your things sat.

"Yeah, you're right. I'm getting a little hungry too." You replied before hearing your stomach grumble.

Rindou and I both cooked the food we brought and ate together while asking questions about each other.

"We should do more swimming lessons from now on. It's fun to splash around and get your hair wet" you joked.

Rindou smiled and nodded. Silence filled the surroundings, Rindou grabbed his towel and went to the small bathroom nearby. I sat there looking at the horizon, walking towards the water wanting to see if I can learn by myself without anyone's help.

I started at the shallow water where we previously were practicing, feeling like I've learned something I stepped towards the deeper part of the water and decided to dive. In that second I thought I was actually swimming until I stood up and couldn't feel the ground and that's when I realized I had been pulled by the waves to the deepest part of the water. I started drowning, screaming for help, screaming for Rindou. The water was getting cold and my body was getting weak... My eyes were so close to going shut then I saw Rindou. He ran towards me and swam faster than I could imagine and before he can reach me, my eyes completely went shut.

I woke up in my room and Rindou nowhere to be seen. I went looking for him around the house but he was nowhere around the house.

"He's probably mad at me for going to the water knowing I still don't know how to swim." You thought to yourself as you sat down at the couch and felt disappointed at yourself.

Tears were about to form on your eyes when suddenly you heard the front door open, revealing Rindou with groceries on his hand. You watched him walk towards the kitchen counter before running towards him, hugging him.

"Oh, good morning. I didn't notice you there, how was your sleep?" Rindou asked as he takes out the fruits from the bag he had earlier.

"I'm sorry about yesterday... I didn't mean for any of that to happen, I really thought I knew how to swim but turns out I was wrong." You replied looking down at your feet.

"I'm the one who should be sorry, if I had heard your screams a little bit earlier then you wouldn't have passed out back there."

"It's not your fault... I knew I shouldn't have done that and yet I still did, god how stupid can I be!"

"Don't blame yourself, forget about yesterday, what's important is that you're safe now."

"Thank you... For saving me."

"Anytime." Rindou smiled. "What would you like for breakfast, stubborn princess."

"Eh?! Stubborn princess? I'm not stubborn!" You pouted and crossed your arms.

"Yes, you are." Rindou turned around and opened that fridge.

"Cute." Rindou whispered.

Rindou cooked breakfast for the both of you, he even made fruit shake for you.

I use to despise spending time with other man other than Izana but I find myself actually enjoying Rindou's company. This kind of company is different than how Izana does but I can't shake the thought that he might only be doing this to earn my trust so that I would marry him knowing that he's my Alpha and I'm his destined mate and Omega. Even if that true though, I enjoy every second we spend together.

Although I enjoy Rindou's presence, I still worry about how Izana is doing. If he's even eating, if he's okay, if he's still healthy.
