Chapter 10: Acceptable reasons

It was quieter today then any other day, I wonder what everyone's doing. I went down stairs and I notice everyone walking around the house almost like they're looking for something. I saw Izana ang approached him.

"What's going on? Did you lose something? Why is everyone walking around the house? Are they looking for something?" You asked.

"No, they're just getting ready..." Izana replied.

"Getting ready for what? " you asked while watching everyone walking back to back from their rooms to another.

"I wanted to tell you this yesterday but you had a really high fever so I decided to let you get more sleep. You see, I scheduled a meeting with another gang and it's out of Yokohama so I won't be home for a few days but don't worry, I'll send someone to guard you while I'm gone, okay? I promise it'll only be a few days." Izana announced to you as he pulls you for a hug.

"Just promise me I'll still be the one you love when you get back... Okay?" You said as you hug him back while looking to his eyes.

"I promise, my love. You'll always be my only one." Izana said before pecking your lips and hugging you tighter.

Rindou was leaning on the door frame beside the both of you as you talk. He's getting jealous with every second, his eyes are locked on one person and this time it's not you... It's Izana, he was staring at Izana with pure jealousy in his eyes.

Rindou's pov

"Tch, she's flirting with him again... Ugh it makes me so mad and jealous seeing them hug, kiss, flirt, and touch each other like I'm not here."

"I hear you, 'ya know. So is she the reason you don't want to come with us?" His older brother asked.

"None of your business."

"What's your plan?" Ran asked.

"I need an excuse so I can stay here with her..."

"And?"

"And if I get to stay here... I'll take the chances and fu-"

"No. You're not gonna fuck her that easily. She doesn't even trust you not love you. She's literally scared of you."

"It's either that or it'll be too late if not."

"It's not too late, Izana hasn't talked about marrying her yet, you still have time. Earn her love and trust the right way and not like this, forced and rushed. Find out what she likes and what she doesn't like, ask her what her favorite thing to do is, start a simple and normal conversation with her without giving out signs of bad intentions. Make her feel comfortable around you, you're never gonna win her heart if all you could ever think about is sex when she's around. Look, you're a man so be a man, and by that I don't mean dominate her, just show her a gentle side of you and she'll see you differently. Do you understand?"

"You're right but do you think it'll work?"

"I know it will."

"I still want to spend some time with her alone so i'll make an excuse to stay here."

"Goodluck with that. I've done enough to help you, you can handle that yourself now, brother."

Y/n's POV

"I hope its Madarame and Mochi though..." you said.

"Oh... About that... Mochi and Madarame are coming with me so I have to find someone else to guard you." Izana replied scratching the back of his head.

"Oh... Its fine as long as they know their duty." you smiled and hugged Izana again.

"I wanted to spend some time with you alone but I guess you had other plans..." you whispered knowing Izana wouldn't be able to hear it aa he was talking to Sanzu.

"I have to go get ready, we'll talk later okay? Love you." Izana kissed your forehead and left.

Rindou's pov

"Izana... Can I not come with you? I just... Uhm... I'm scared of airplanes and I get homesick sometimes. Can I just stay here and help guard Y/n?" Rindou asked Izana.

"This isn't the first time you're going to be on a plane... I never knew you were scared of airplanes but if that's so then yeah, I guess you can stay. Your brother coming though, right?" Izana replied.

"Yeah, he's going, he's all packed and ready to go."

"Alright then I guess you'll be staying here to guard Y/n just make sure you do your job right, understand?"

"Loud and clear."

Mission was successful, now Rindou can spend his time with you while Izana is gone.
