Chapter 19: Jealousy or anger?

It was already getting dark so Izana and Y/n was getting ready for their date. Rindou was downstairs waiting for both of them as he was the one ordered to drive for them. He was irritated but he feels a little happy because he gets to see how beautiful Y/n is in her dress, knowing too well which dress she chose for the date as he was there when she was picking the dress. After a few minutes, Izana is already downstairs and they were only waiting for Y/n who was still in their room. When Izana heard Y/n coming downstairs, he quickly went to escort her down the stairs, although Y/n was not focused on Izana... She was focused on Rindou who was staring at her with a smile.

"Rindou will be driving us to our date, that's why he's also waiting." Izana said when he noticed you looking at Rindou.

"Oh... I see. Well then, shall we go? Sorry to keep you both waiting." You replied and smiled at the both of them.

Izana is still escorting you even towards the door where Ran was there holding the door open, Y/n smiled at Ran and nodded as a thank you. Rindou was last to leave but Ran held his arm and spoke.

"Don't ruin this night for them... I know you're jealous but don't let that jealousy turn into anger." Ran explained.

Rindou didn't replied and shoved his brother's hand away, leaving the house without a word and got in the car before driving away.

They arrived at a fancy restaurant and they both got out of the car as Rindou drove the car to the parking area. Through the whole time, while Y/n and Izana was enjoying their date, Rindou was in the car endlessly imagining how happy and sweet they are during the date.

"What's the use of being her Alpha if I can't even get to have her? Damn you Izana..." Rindou whispered to himself still imagining them.

After almost an hour, Izana and Y/n walked out of the restaurant and Rindou drove to the entrance and waited for them to get in the car.

"How was the date?..." Rindou asked while driving.

"It was great, I enjoyed it so much especially because I'm with my love." Izana said and kissed Y/n's cheeks.

Rindou's grip on the steering wheel tighten but then he noticed Y/n's silence. He wanted to ask what was wrong but he thought maybe it was his chance to talk to her alone later... If she doesn't sleep in their shared room.

As soon as they got home, Rindou got out of the car and opened the door for Y/n and ignored Izana waiting for Rindou to open the door for him. Rindou stood there at Y/n's open car door expecting Izana to get out of that side, so with annoyance, Izana got out of that side and glared at Rindou who didn't even gave a glance. Rindou silently chuckled as soon as Izana turned his back.

When Rindou checked which room Y/n was gonna sleep in he realized that she entered their shared bedroom and his plans was destroyed. Rindou entered his room and laid down on his bed completely forgetting to lock his door. After a few hours, Rindou is still trying to the sleep but due to his desperation to talk to Y/n, he kept failing.

After a few hours, someone knocked on his door. A little bit annoyed, Rindou went to open the door and saw Y/n standing there her eyes completely tired.

"Y/n? What's wrong? Did something happen?" Rindou asked inviting her into the room.

"The date was different then before... Usually he'd talk about how much he missed me while he was away and would ask me questions like what I did while he was away or what I ate while he was gone... But tonight he only talked about his trip... I know that's normal because he enjoyed it but he even had the audacity to talk about someone he met while he was on his trip... And guess what? She asked if she could have his number and he gave it to her! And after giving her his number, she kissed her and he didn't even reject... It hurts." She explained, tears forming on her eyes.

"That's normal when it comes to Izana, you just have to ignore it and try to talk to him about it... It's gonna be okay, I'm here for you, don't worry" Rindou comforted her and hugged her tightly as she cried.

"I don't know how to talk to him about it... I think it's better to stay silent rather than talking about it and making him mad again..." She explained weakly before falling asleep on Rindou's arms.

"I can treat you better than him... If you only chose me, Y/n, I will always make sure that your happiness comes first than anything else in my life..." Rindou kissed her forehead and laid her down his bed as he sleep beside her.
