THE DARK BROTHERHOOD was a mere rumor to the smallfolk and Lords and Ladies of Westeros alike. There were those who believed and those who didn't. But the Brothers and Sisters of the Dark Brotherhood lived in the shadows ── They lived amongst the people. Easily blending in, these members were highly trained assassins who carried out assassination contracts. And to call upon them was treason to the Crown, but that stopped no one. Those who wish to utilize the organizations deadly services completed a ritual called "The Black Sacrament," although to join said organization, one must be contacted directly. Standing by the Five Tenets and worshiping the Night Mother, the Dark Brotherhood thrived in the shadows. But when they receive a contract to kill every man who calls himself "King," they are in for the biggest contract of their lives.
