Mingi didn't know what he expected when they followed the wolf into the tree. But it certainly was not this. First, they followed the wolf through a long hallway with roots poking out everywhere, and dirt constantly falling at his feet.
Making him wonder if this stupid shit was going to collapse on top of him. It also didn't help that he was still carrying all the supplies that they got. With Yeosang only carrying a small bag. Mingi did not consider himself weak or anything of the sort and he was used to carrying heavy bags, but this was becoming a nuisance.
His arms were starting to burn from the effort of holding all this shit up in his arms. His irritation kept growing as there didn't seem to be an end to this damn tunnel or hallway or whatever the fuck it was.
"Will this ever end?" He finally groaned to Yeosang who turned around and grinned at him.
"Who knows I don't really mind." With a sadistic grin he looked at all the stuff Mingi was carrying before turning back around. Only to be immediately thrown to the side of the cave when Mingi tossed one of his bags on him.
"If we are doing this, then we are doing it together." Mingi said teasingly as he walked past him. Enjoying hearing Yeosang struggle with the weight of the bag, he continued to follow the wolf still wondering when this all would end. But before he could complain to Yeosang again the way in front of him lit up.
They had entered a new cave. Tons of spikes came down from the ceiling or up from the ground and they all emitted a white light. The entire cave seemed to sparkle with a soft light. He heard Yeosang gasp behind him, but they couldn't find the words as they continued further into the cave. Simply following the wolf to wherever he took them.
Then they finally reached their destination. A huge carved out round cave, where in the middle lay 8 daggers. Mingi dropped his bag and heard Yeosang do the same.

Hongjoong was worried, really worried. When he had sent Mingi and Yeosang on their so called field trip he had been expecting them to get back within three hours or less. But it had been over eight now and he was getting more worried by the second.
It was true that he had angrily sent the duo away. But he had only done it to get some peace and quiet. While also secretly hoping that the time the two spent together would help them get over this weird feud they had had since the beginning.
Hongjoong acknowledged it was mainly Mingi's fault, the man had a knack for being loud and domineering to those he didn't like or know that well, that much Hongjoong had gotten to know about him in the two weeks he had known him. Mingi had also been semi hostile towards Yunho when they were first introduced but had gotten over that now it seemed. He respects Yunho now. He even got along with Jongho decently know even though he had known him for a fraction of the time he had known Yeosang.
It may be because Yeosang and Mingi were just too similar. They both had the strongest personalities on their crew . Which meant that when something bothered them it would almost always end up in bickering and annoying ass fighting and Hongjoong had been so over it, he had already been over it. Then they fought again physically this time. If it hadn't been for Seonghwa's quick thinking and Yunhos reflexes, who knows what might've happened if Mingi had actually struck Yeosang? He didn't want to think about it honestly.
Just the thought of losing any crew member made him feel sick to his stomach. He felt the constant need to protect all these people. He always made sure he knew where everyone was at all times and if they were ok. He had never been a particularly caring person before and this new side of him scared him but at the same time he didn't care. He just knew he had to protect them, all of them.
