Mingi was annoyed, he had been annoyed ever since they had set the ship down after finally leaving the last of the forest behind them. Finally feeling like the air was normal again and he could breathe easier. It had been about two days since they had left that forest behind them. Today Hongjoong had decided to set the ship down on the ground after Yunho spotted a relatively big city nearby. It was not walled off which meant there wasn't a large presence of guards so they could safely get supplies. They also saw no orange empire flags.
As soon as they set down Hongjoong started making a list of the coming weeks necessities with Yunho. . Mingi quickly realized this was not something that he could help with, so he went off on his own but as soon as he turned around he bumped into Yeosang. Yeosang stared at him with an emotion that he couldn't place before he moved around him to talk to Hongjoong and Yunho.
The rest of the group and by that he meant Seonghwa and Jongho were seated on a fallen tree stump. Seonghwa had already gotten out the cards and was dividing the cards. Mingi sat down next to Jongho, he had only known him for like 2 days but he actually really liked him.
The guy they had picked up, Mingi, called him mister hothead in his brain. He was sitting beside the planning trio. He had not spoken much to anyone outside of Hongjoong and Yunho. Mingi thought he was a good addition, the scorch marks he had left on the railing had been a clear indication of his power.
But he didn't have much else to say about him right now other than that he looked cool.
They played cards for quite a while until Hongjoong made them eat lunch, which was also the last of the supplies. After lunch was done Mingi went to put away his plate but ended up bumping into Yeosang. Again.
"Can't you see where you're going hysterical the second?!" He shouts at him annoyed.
"Can't you see where you're going you annoying ass waste of space, you big ass blue giant?!" Yeosang shouts back at him, glaring up at him. Man was he being dramatic. Like he was all the damn time.
"Sure, when you stop being dramatic, Ms. Drama." Yeosang seemed to get even angrier which satisfied Mingi.
"When I stop being dramatic!? You annoying asshole, piece of shit. Here take this!" Yeosang threw his plate which still had some food on it at him.
This really pissed Mingi off now and he threw a blast of wind at Yeosang sending him flying against a tree. Yeosang scrambled back up and stared at him. Mingi swore he saw something flash in his eyes before he felt a stabbing pain that sent him to the ground before crawling back up again. Yeosang had a smug look in his golden eyes, wait golden eyes?
Mingi didn't care, he was done with this now and he felt the lightning gathering in his arms loading him up and preparing to shoot.
Then he heard someone shout, ropes wrapped around his arms and someone tackled him to the ground. Sending the lightning bolt he had been holding into a tree.
Mingi had the wind knocked out of him and Seonghwa's face appeared into view. Looking at him as if to say sorry had to stop you. Mingi just nodded back, he understood why Seonghwa tackled him. He sat up and saw Yunho standing next to Yunho. He was the one who had tied him up and when he saw Mingi was calm now he retracted the ropes.
Then before he could think Hongjoong opened his mouth.
"Are you two completely INSANE! We are on the literal run from the empire and have nearly died multiple times and this is what you do. Trying to kill each other? How are we supposed to complete our mission if one of you kills the other?" Hongjoong now stood in the middle of them and Mingi had never seen him this angry.
