figuring things out

A/N: a certain someone gave me a very pleasant review on my last chapter and it gave me the energy i needed to keep going, so thank you my love 💕

this chapter is honestly quite wordy too, like with all the big words and such.

The thought kept racing in his mind, or rather a certain boy was.

He couldn't help himself from feeling guilty.

Mason and Corey had explicitly told him that Theo and his friends were bad news, so how come he didn't feel that way at all?

This whole situation was just too much for him to handle right now and he really just needed to take a breather, which was exactly what he was going to do.

It's not as if Mason and Corey needed him anyways, so what what with all the rushing?

Point being made, Liam rummaged through his bag for his headphones, plugging them into his phone and played some music in an attempt to help calm him down.

The irony playing its part when both his best friend and Theo, he wasn't really sure what else to call him, texting him at the same time.

Mason's asking where he was and Theo's just simply asking if he was okay, both questions he didn't feel like answering right now, so he didn't.

Liam looked up at the top left corner of his phone to see that lunch wasn't over for another 20 minutes.

He wanted to talk to someone about this, about all of this so desperately, but he didn't really know who to turn to at this point.

One thing he could be certain about, was how much this sucked for him.

For once in his life, Liam decided to do what he wanted and what he wanted was to not be here.

There was one lesson left, who would it be hurting if he was absent for a single lesson?

Nobody.

Liam took in one last deep breathe before pulling himself from off the school bathroom floors and wiping the remaining stained tears from off his face.

Unfortunately today just wasn't his day, because the moment he'd stepped out of the toilets and turned around the corner, he'd crashed into someone.

"Sorry," he frantically said, apologising to whoever it was that he'd just bumped into.

"Cupcake?"

Theo.

Maybe he was being a bit dramatic, but it's not fun having no one to talk to about this whole Theo thing.

Sure he had two very loving and understanding parents who supported him and would be glad to help give him advice on these types of things, but it just isn't the same.

"Liam?"

Theo.

"Huh?"

"I've been calling your name. Are you okay?" the other boy asked.

I must've zoned out, he thinks to himself.

"Yeah I- I'm fine. Quick question though?" Liam asked, changing the subject.

"Shoot."

"You've got a car, right?"

This caused Theo to pause, raising his eyebrow at Liam out of confusion.

"Yeah..." Theo's answer, his tone coming off more as a question rather than a statement.

"Is there any possible way that you can take me home right now?"

He knew that he was asking a bit much, especially since they didn't really know each other, and the few interactions they've had before was mostly just Theo flirting with him.

"I mean I guess I could, but-"

"But?"

It's not as of he couldn't walk home because he could if he wanted to, he just figured that if he was going to keep getting harassed then maybe he should at least get something out of it.

"But.. I can't really just leave Liam," Theo explained quite vaguely.

"Why not? Don't tell me you're secretly afraid of getting a detention or something like that cause no offence to you, but that's kind of pathetic, Theo."

"I'm not. If anything, getting a detention would mean I get to stare at your beautiful face, and you wouldn't get a say-"

"So what is it? Cause I've had a generally shitty day and I just want to go ho-"

Theo interrupted him with what some would call an obnoxiously loud sigh.

"Fine."

"Thank you so much, I owe you like big time."
The two headed towards the car pack, obviously not before Theo had his say, of course.

"No worries, cupcake. I'll think of some way you can repay me later. Maybe during our study session?" Theo teased, adding quotation marks to the words 'study session'.

If Liam had guessed that it was just to piss him off, then he would have guessed correctly.

Then again, the sensation of his tightening jeans would beg to differ.

Who could blame him though?

Theo was hot and that was just a fact, like had they seen his thighs?

Anyone would be lucky to have those wrapped around them, he thought.

Liam realised he'd gotten side tracked when Theo had asked him a question, but he'd only caught the last couple of words.

He cleared his throat before answering, praying that Theo couldn't read his mind.

"Can you repeat what you just said?" he asked.

"I asked you where you live. It's not like I know so..." the other boy repeated, trailing off as he waited for Liam's response.

"Just- just around the block from the diner at the end of the road," he answered.

After around 20 minutes, the two had finally arrived at his house.

"Here we are," Theo announced.

"Well uh- did you wanna... you know?" he stuttered, failing miserably at his attempt to flirt with the boy in the drivers seat.

"Did I wanna what, Liam?"

"Did you wanna come in?"

If you asked Liam would swear that his heart was physically beating outside of his chest.

How could doing something so wrong feel so right?

"Trying to seduce me?"

"No I-"

"Are your parents home?"

"No?"

"Good."

"What are yo-"

"You asked me if I wanted to come in, and that's exactly what I'm doing," Theo answered.

The next thing Liam knew they were standing in his living room.

A/N: so... i may or may not of got carried away when writing about theo's thighs and has to disguard it for 2 reasons. 1) we're not there yet and 2) the smutty not smutty writing was very bad.

i know that this day has been going on for like 2 chapters now and i'm making it 3 because i am going to get carried away.

sorry 😞
