"Well, now you're in the best possible hands," Debbra said, giving Harry another kiss on the forehead and turning to his mother and sister. "I need to go home, I left there yesterday to go shopping at a grocery store and I haven't been back. For a great cause, it's true," she amended, smiling at Harry, who looked back at her angrily.

"Do you really need to go? But, will you come back? Please, I know you have your things to attend to, you've done so much already, but I need you here", he pleaded, squeezing her hand. "Only now I realized that I don't even know what you do, really, what your life is like. If you have a husband, family, children waiting at home. Forgive me for being selfish. Still, I need you here with me, please ' he insisted. He still hadn't been able to contain the last burst of crying.

In fact, Debbra wanted to plant herself there and never let go of him, but that wasn't how things worked, was it? There was no family waiting, but she had a life to take care of, a life that, by the way, was very troubled by the immense amount of work. She needed to get organized, as much as she wanted to babysit her protégé. "Harry, I'm not married, I don't have kids waiting at home. I work for a publishing company in London, where I live. I have tons of unfinished material, in production and need to deliver. I had come here to get away from the hustle and bustle. From London, imagine?" she laughed, but Harry looked even more agitated.

"Okay, but can you go back to London with us? Please, can you stay with me for at least part of the day today? I'll stay home, please, let's go there with us. I kind of want to come back to reality together with you, that got me out of that nightmare," he kept insisting. Anne and Gemma reinforced Harry's request. "If you can do that, it will be wonderful," said Anne.

Debbra had no way of denying the request. The arrangement was as follows: she would quickly go to the chalet to minimally organize her things, get the computer, and return with the car to the hospital. An assistant from Harry's security team was in charge of returning his car to the capital, while she would board the helicopter with Harry and the family, as soon as he had medical clearance, which would be quick.

The day was already dawning when she returned. at the hospital, handed the SUV over to the person who would take it to London, and headed to Harry's room. She had managed to take a shower and a glass of milk.

The clothes with which she had helped Harry on the road were dirty, so she was able to choose another outfit, which, in addition to being more appropriate, was impeccably clean. Now she wore an elegant set of wool pants and blazer, in teal. Underneath, a cream cashmere, with a high collar. Warm and discreet boots with comfortable heels. Her hair was tied up in an unassuming loose bun.

And she even gave herself the luxury of doing a very light make-up. Harry's mother and sister seemed to like what they saw. "Wow, did you dress up?", joked Gemma, making her feel embarrassed, feeling like a futile bitch. "Please say you're kidding!" she snapped. They smiled. "You look great, it was good of you to go there and sort your things out, albeit quickly", said Anne. And that's when Debbra noticed that the bed where Harry had stayed was empty.

Startled, she looked at the two of them, but before she could ask anything, he appeared from the bathroom. Wet hair, a much better face. He had taken a good shower and put on a black tracksuit that his mother had brought. He looked even more like a big baby, but he was beautiful, with a much more willing air. He had been discharged early in the morning. And he came straight to her, hugging her as if he hadn't seen her in weeks.

A little embarrassed, but touched and grateful for the reception, she let herself be hooked on his body and noticed that Harry again brushed his nose in her hair. "I'm going to undo this hairstyle, can I?" he said, pulling away from her a little, with a sly smile. It was the first time she had seen him with that slightly mischievous expression, which made her melt.
