Third PoV
Valtor and Bloom stepped through the portal and found themselves in the familiar surroundings of Alfea School for Fairies. As they made their way through the gardens where they had landed, Bloom couldn't help but feel uneasy. She knew that Valtor was still her enemy, despite the fact that he had helped her escape. Then she remembered that Valtor had originally crashed the party to kill her and her family and friends and promptly shoot a spell at him to incapacitate him.
Valtor saw the bright red spell, closing in, from the corner of his eye and managed to dodge it, his reflexes honed from his years as a warrior. He was glad that they were still sharp and hadn't gone rusty. His eyes narrowed as he turned towards Bloom, who was preparing to send another attack. Valtor quickly thrust one hand out, sending a strong gust of wind which knocked Bloom on her back. Her spell flickered and died. Valtor towered over her, his eyes flashing in anger. "If you want to attack your enemy from behind, make sure you hit them. After that, you lose the element of surprise and your enemy can strike back at you. Potentially even kill you, which I am rather tempted to do right now."
Valtor seemed utterly serious and Bloom involuntarily shivered at the fury in his eyes. The air around her was thick with suppressive aura and Bloom was reminded that this was indeed one of the darkest wizards of all time who had evaded death more than once.
"You know", Valtor tilted his head, seemingly thoughtfully, "If I killed you now, there would be no Flame for the demon to take. I would be doing everybody a favour actually."
Bloom blanched at that, and she knew Valtor could and would easily follow that threat through. Before either of them could make the next move, a golden shield appeared around Bloom. Both of their heads turned around to where Faragonda stood. Her lips were set in a thin, grim line and anger was evident in every line of her face.
"You!" She spat, looking as if she was going to start throwing spells any second. Bloom quickly took advantage of Valtor's brief lapse in attention to push herself to her feet and backed away to a safe distance.
Valtor turned to face Faragonda, a mocking smile on his lips. "Ah, Faragonda. Always a pleasure to see you," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "How's life treating you, by the way?"
Faragonda's eyes blazed with fury and ignored his question. "How are you still alive? You should have been dead!"
Valtor regarded her calmly, the mocking smile still playing on his lips."My dear Faragonda, death has never been able to hold me for long," he replied. "And I must say, it's been rather enjoyable to see the look of surprise on your face every time I come back."
Faragonda gritted her teeth. "You may have evaded death in the past, but you won't be so lucky this time. I will personally make sure there is not a speck of ash left of you!" Hatred was coating every word she said.
Valtor didn't seem bothered at all and chuckled amusedly. "Is that a threat, Faragonda? You know I thrive on those." He raised his hand, ready to attack, but Faragonda was quicker. She shot a powerful beam of light at him, but Valtor blocked it easily with a shield of his own. He clapped his hands and disappeared into smoke, which materialized behind Faragonda and shot a ray of fire at her. All this happened in the space of three second.
Faragonda quickly countered with a beam of water, extinguishing the flames before they could reach her. She spun around, ready to face Valtor again, but he had already disappeared once more.
Bloom watched from a safe distance, feeling helpless. She knew that Valtor was dangerous, and it seemed like he was just as powerful as before. She looked towards Faragonda, who was still standing in the same spot, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of Valtor's reappearance.
He appeared at an even distance of both Faragonda and Bloom, all traces of amusement had vanished from his face, leaving only a bored finalty. "Enough!" His voice rang sharply over to them. "As much as I would like to continue this game, perhaps I should inform you, Faragonda, that The Seal has been broken."
Faragonda's eyes widened in horror at Valtor's words. "No...not, not that Seal. It's supposed to be unbreakable." she whispered, her heart sinking. She, along with the Company of Light and the Dark Coven had sealed it personally. With all their powers combined, they had created the most powerful Seal of Prison ever made. That the demon, or anybody, was able to break the Seal, which was created with the combined power of light magic, dark magic and the Dragon Flame, both the light and dark version of it.
Valtor nodded grimly, his face emotionless once again. "I'm afraid so. And with the Seal broken, the demon will be free to roam the realms once again." Valtor's words hung heavy in the air, even with the flat tone they had been spoken with.
Faragonda seemed to lose all colour as she shakily exhaled before trying to clear her thoughts. "We need to alert the Company of Light immediately. They need to know what's happened."
Bloom quickly stepped forward, an alarmed expression on her face. "Wait! What about my family, and the Winx? And all the other people still at Domino?" She could not believe that she had forgotten about them. Bloom still didn't understand exactly what was going on, but she gathered from Headmistress Faragonda's and Valtor's exchange that a powerful demon, the one who showed up at Domino, had escaped a prison and now was after the Dragon Flame.
Valtor didn't even attempt to look concerned. "I doubt that the demon stayed for long in Domino. The demon does not care for those people. It is a possibility that he tries to seek Domino's Scrolls of Magic, but as I said, I doubt it. The Dragon Flame is what he truly wants," he drawled.
Faragonda took a deep breath. "I will make sure that a squad from Red Fountain departs from Domino. Meanwhile, I must gather the professors to raise Alfea's wards. They must be stronger than ever. Come on!" Faragonda made to walk through the gates before stopping.
"You're not invited!" She snapped towards Valtor, who had been eyeing the gates in consideration. He knew that he could've come inside since Faragonda had not specified who she wanted to come. Wards were useless once someone had been invited in.
Valtor smirked back at her. "Oh? Is that so? Then should I assume you do not want my help?"
Faragonda seemed to hesitate and didn't answer. Valtor decided to help her along. "Well then, I'll just go and see how Andros has fared in the last three or so years..." He turned around without seeing the horrified look in their eyes he knew was there, and started to walk away. With each step he counted down. "Three, two, one..."

I know i've been promising an update for a very long time and here it is. I've been developing my writing style and i've grown up a lot since i started writing this story. I've been writing this chapter for a very long time but it never seemed quite right in my opinion. This point in the story was very difficult to write since it will decide the rest of the story. I have also finally had a bit of spare time before the final exams which are around the corner and which i have started preparing for. I hope the next chapter doesn't take this long. Feel free to suggest ideas on how this will go on. I promise i will take those in account. And pleeeeeeaaaaseeeee suggest a better name for the story!!!!!!!
Btw i held my promise of not abandoning the story ;)
Until next time!
