"Come on! Get on the train." We all climbed aboard the train and headed to a compartment.

"I'm going to go sit with my friends." I said sheepishly.

"We're not good enough for you?" James laughed.

"Leave him alone." Emily pushed his head.

I found my friends and sat down.

"Change your mind?" Barty asked.

"No."

"About what?" Pandora asked.

"Nothing." The three boys answered together.

"You're being stupid!" Barty exclaimed.

"I'm being a good person!"

"Do you have a death wish?!"

"I would rather die than be a fool like you!" I yelled and stormed out.

I found the Marauders and the girls. I sat down by Marisa.

"What's up?" Marisa asked, sounding concerned.

"Nothing, Barty is just an idiot."

"Is this about the same thing as last time you two fought?"

"Yup."

"I've never seen you guys fight." Sirius said.

"I thought you two were best friends." Nora added.

"Not if he's going to be an idiot."

"What did he do?" James asked.

"None of your business."

"Sorry, just wanted to know."

"Sorry you guys. Things are just kind of crazy right now." I need to calm down. I have to hide my emotions. I always do.

After the train had arrived we all filed into the carriages. I was worried the entire time that someone would see me with my brother. If any of my cousins found out they would go straight to my parents.

"Reg, relax," Sirius said.

"If mum and dad find out I've been hanging around you. I'll be doomed."

"We won't let anything happen." They tried to comfort me but it wasn't working.

Dumbledore stood at the front of the great hall facing everyone.

"We have decided that this year we will have a very special day. We will be having a parents day. Your parents will be able to come here and spend a day with you. They can go to your classes and meet your friends. This event will be happening in three weeks." My face must've gone pale because Pandora looked concerned.

"Are you alright?" Evan asked.

"Just fine." Barty looked like he wanted to say something but he just turned away.

The next three weeks were the worst ones of my life. From Barty and I not talking to each other to my cousins threatening me because I have been talking with blood traitors and mud bloods. At least that's what they said. I've had to go about pretending that my life isn't currently falling apart. Marisa and I have gotten closer, she seems to like being around me for some reason. The negative thoughts haven't stopped. I have to constantly fight the voices. The feeling of being alone is always present. My anxiety has also risen. The thought of my parents coming to Hogwarts is terrifying.

"Hey reg! How are you feeling about your parents coming today?" Marisa asked as she skipped towards me.

"It doesn't really matter. I'll just keep pretending to be their perfect son." I smiled trying to hide my panicking.

"Did you hear that Nora and Julian got together!" She burst out.

"How long have you been wanting to say something!" I chuckled. Everything felt better when she was around.

"Forever! I'm so glad they just finally got together!"

"Guess what!" Nora called as she ran towards us followed by Julian and Emily.

"What?"

"Parents have arrived!" Emily said.

The feeling of fear flooded my body. "Guys, I won't be able to talk to you while my parents are here. They'll catch on that I'm trying to run away and they'll stop it."

"Ok. We'll act like you hate us. We'll do anything to help you escape." Emily smiled.

"Please tell Sirius."

"Regulus." A stern voice called out. I stood straighter if that was possible. I held my head up and spun around.

"Mother. Father."

"Who are these people?" My mother sneered.

"I'm Nora Malfoy. The others don't matter." Nora stepped forward and sent an apologetic look towards her friends.

"Malfoy? A very good name. I met your brother a while back. You know Narcissa is to be betrothed to him. Maybe the two of you." I glanced back to see that our friends had left.

"Don't be absurd mother." I smiled.

"Regulus, we need to speak about that offer."

"Yes mother. I don't believe this is a good place."

"Yes of course. We'll speak when it's more convenient."

"What offer?" Nora asked and I sent her a glare.

"Your brother has gotten it too. I would be surprised if you didn't get the same."

"Oh I believe I know what you're talking about." I stared at her in shock as she refused to look at me.

"Mother. Father." I turned to see Sirius standing there with a cold expression on his face.

"Sirius. What do you want?"

"I want you to stop talking to my brother." Stop. Please Sirius stop. I tried sending the message to his head but of course it wouldn't work.

"He is no longer your brother. He doesn't want to be your brother. Isn't that right Regulus."

"Of course mother. He's a blood traitor." Sirius looked hurt.

"Fine. I don't care what you think. I don't need you." My heart felt as if it was stabbed. Sirius grabbed Nora and dragged her away.

"I want you to join. I'm not waiting until this year is over. Your cousins have written to me telling me you have been hanging around mud bloods and I won't have it. I'm taking you out of school and you will join."

"Very well. I'll need a week to pack and say my goodbyes but I will join if I'm allowed to do that."

"Very well. I'll be leaving now." She left, not bothering to stay for the rest of parents day.

I found my friends surrounded by random people I had never met.

"Sorry about that, they're gone." I sighed and sat down. Nora wouldn't look at me.

"Hey reg, have you met my parents?" Marisa smiled at me. I looked up to see a couple smiling at me.

"Your Regulus black? Marisa has told us so much about you."

"Dad." Marisa whined and her dad chuckled.

"Yeah I'm regulus." I shook their hands.

The rest of the day was spent with everyone laughing and talking with their parents.
