It's finally the 21st of December, a.k.a the day Me, Eli, and the rest of the Hewson's, except Jordan since she was already there, fly out to LA for Christmas.
December and the year 2022 was finally coming to a close, and I was honestly fairly disappointed that it was.
December had been good but strange at the same time.
I went out for dinner with Sophie that night after the lads last 3Olympia show. She told me many incredible stories about her time in London and how she's planning to go back in the Summer, but something tells me she won't. Her and Bobby have been getting closer over the last month and I definitely think they've been on a few dates but just didn't tell me. She seems really happy, and so does he, so whether it's just a friendship or more than that, they're both happy and that's all that matters to me.
Me and Josh had planned to go on a little photography day out in Dublin together, but two hours beforehand he cancelled on me, leaving me at the bus stop in the pouring rain. I was really upset over it but Josh never knew that. He said it was something personal so I didn't ask questions. I was probably being selfish feeling upset over it, I was just really looking forward to just the two of us spending time together.
And then you have me and Eli. In my eyes we're perfect. This is my first proper relationship, so I'm not totally sure what the perfect relationship is, but I have a feeling this is what it is.
There's a lot of Marvel Movies, brunch dates, sleepovers between his apartment and mine. I can also talk to him about anything, which is important in any relationship. Our communication is really good, and I trust him......he's the only person I've ever trusted fully.
Oh, and, there's a lot of cigarette sharing, exchanging song recommendations, and...of course...a lot of sex....but that's besides the point.
All in all, things are going great for us.
It was currently around 4:30am and I've woken up before Eli so I could sneakily put his Christmas presents into one of my suitcases. I had already packed the rest of the Christmas presents for the rest of the family, but I had to collect Eli's gifts later than the rest because there was a slight delay with payment on my end.
I was beyond excited at this point. I'd only ever been to other counties in Ireland and then Italy to visit my mam, so getting to travel to America with my first boyfriend and his family so early into our relationship is a big fucking deal.
I was also going to be in first class!! Like what the fuck has my life become, it's insane.
I started bringing down my suitcases one by one to the front door of the Hewson Household. Me and Eli stayed here last night so we could all head to the airport together.
I was the one with the most suitcases because the rest of them had a wardrobe full of clothes and a house full of toiletries while I of course had nothing like that. So while everybody else had one large suitcase and a carry on bag, I had two large suitcases and one small suitcase and a carry on bag. I officially looked like a crazy bag lady....it's actually embarrassing.
As I brought my last bag downstairs I noticed that the kitchen light was on and the smell of toast wafted around the house.
Ali was sat at the kitchen table reading a book and drinking a cup of coffee.
"Good Morning Ali." I smiled at her, walking towards the table and sitting across from her.
"Good Morning sweetheart. Did you sleep well?" She asked with a soft smile on her face, placing down her book so she could give her full attention to me and the conversation.
