We all sat in Mine and Eli's hotel room, waiting to hear from either Gary or Sophie.
Everyone, including myself, was extremely worried about him. Your appendix bursting is very fucking dangerous. So it was only natural that we were worried about our best friend.
"Can you please stop tapping your foot against the floor. It's doing my head in." Eli rubbed his temples as he snapped at Ryan in his state of stress.
"Shit, sorry lad. This wait is killing me." Ryan sighed as he took a bottle of water out of the mini fridge.
Right on time, my phone started ringing. It was Sophie.
I jumped up off the bed and answered it. I began to pace around the room as I listened to her talk.
"Hey, Soph. What's going on? Is he okay."
"Hey. Yeah, he's doing okay. He's in a lot of pain, drugged up, so he is."
"So it was his appendix then?"
"It was. Had a feeling it was since I've gotten my own appendix out, as you know."
"Put her on speaker. We have no fucking idea what's going on." Eli snapped at me, making me turn my head and snap back at him.
"Get your head out of your arse for two seconds. She's telling me what's going on. Have patience, please."
Louis let out a small laugh. Quickly covering his mouth when Eli gave him a glare.
"Soph, I'm going to put you on speaker so the lads can hear you. Is that alright?"
"Yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Hiya lads!!"
"Hi Sophie!!" The boys called back, huddling around me in the middle of the hotel room.
"So, his appendix did burst, he's being taken in for emergency surgery. They're just getting him ready now and Gary is on his way back to the hotel."
I heard Sophie sigh as she spoke, clearly stressed out and worried. It seems like the lads noticed as well.
