During the early hours of the morning, we'd ended up in Liverpool.

I was dead to the world, but the only thing that managed to wake me up was the sudden numbness in my right hand.

The grip Eli had on my hand hadn't loosened one bit during the night. Was it cute? Yes! But was it causing me to lose blood circulation in my hand? Also yes!

"Eli, wake up." I shook his hand tiredly, making him groan loudly and let go of my hand.

"I'm not ready to wake up yet!" He whined. Rolling over onto his stomach on the floor.

"Either am I, but we have jobs to do. Remember?" I yawned, wrapping the blanket around my shoulders and getting off the couch to straddle Eli's back, cuddling into him as I placed my head down on the back of his shoulder. Engulfing him in my embrace and the warmth of the blanket.

Eli hummed in satisfaction at my affection, gladly letting me place slow and lengthy kisses on his bare shoulder blades.

"How long can we stay here?" He mumbled with his eyes closed as I continued to cover his upper bare back with kisses.

"Lemme check." I spoke back, placing one final kiss on the side of his neck as I leaned up to grab my phone off the couch.

The time on my phone read 7:30am, and we didn't have to be up and ready until 9am. So we had loads of time.

"So, good news is it's only 7:30, bad news is there's now way of getting me back to sleep now."

"Oh well, come with me then." He slowly got up off the floor and held out his hand for me to take.

I took a hold of his hand, our fingers instantly intertwining as we both sleepily walked into the bunk area.

My bare feet shuffled against the floor. The feeling of tiredness nearly making me feel nauseous, but the butterflies quickly took over that feeling as Eli opened the small curtain and signalled me to get into his bunk.

I was about to crawl into his bunk until he stopped me in my tracks.

"Actually, it'll be easier if I get in first."

He placed his hands on my hips and gently moved me to the left of him.

Once he crawled in, he opened his arms for me to cuddle into.

I quickly laid down on top of him and pulled the curtain back across, leaving us in the dark.

He grabbed the duvet cover and placed it over the two of us. I snuggled into his chest, placing a light kiss on the star tattoo underneath his collarbone as the beating of his heart ran through my ears.

"You can fall back asleep if you want. Gary does the rounds with me and the lads anyways. So you won't be late." He rubbed his hands up and down my clothed back. My eyes getting heavier and heavier at his touch.

"I don't want to. I want to stay awake." I tried to cover up my tiredness but failed miserably. A massive yawn escaping my mouth.

"Well, I'll keep talking to you about fuck all until we both fall back asleep." He laughed sleepily, making me give him a sleepy smile in return.

"Can I hold your hand?" I asked shyly.

"Of course you can!" He kept one hand on my back and let his right hand slip under the covers to hold mine.

"I miss our new home already. We didn't get enough time in it." My mind went straight to our new home for some reason. The state we were in currently reminded me of the first night in our house.
