The spring sun made its way through the gaps in Sophie's blackout curtains. Her childhood bedroom was filled with endless amounts of pictures and vinyl's.

The pictures of herself and Rebecca were endless and also embarrassing. The teenage angst seeping through some of the photographs caused her to cringe, but Sophie would never take them down.

Never in a million years.

There was no rush to escape this safe haven that was her old room.

That was also him and his warmth.

They had nowhere to be, no one to see. They could just sleep, talk, relax, and sleep again.

She let out a quiet yawn as she woke up slowly. Her head pounding from the Easter celebrations the day and night before.

Sophie smiled to herself as she felt Rob breathing against her neck. Sending shivers down her spine and a warmth throughout her body that was difficult to describe.

She didn't move, she stayed still so the moment would last longer.

Her family instantly loved Rob, and she couldn't have been happier with how welcoming they were to him.

Surprisingly, her grandmother took an instant liking to him, which was very rare, but his usual charm and charisma won her over nearly as soon as he walked through the door.

Her little sister was instantly drawn to him. A twelve year age gap was very surprising, but her parents had Sophie at a young age.

Not only was Sophie's little sister attached to Rob at the hip the entire time, but Rob was also attached to her.

The two of them played games the entire time, and he allowed her to show him all the collectable Barbies that were still in the box.

By the end of the night, Sophie's little sister had fallen asleep with her head in his shoulder while he chatted away to her family at the dinner table, not a bother on him.

Sophie felt a different kind of love in her heart for him after that moment.

Sophie stayed on her back, Rob's head comfortably tucked in the crook of her neck and his arm over her stomach. She rubbed her hand gently up and down his arm as she stared at the ceiling, thinking random thoughts.

She thought about Rebecca's birthday and how she knew that she would need a party to brighten up her mood.

Rebecca missed everyone dearly, and Sophie wanted to plan a big bash for her with everyone she loves in one room.

All there to celebrate her best friend.

"What are you thinking about, Fi?" Rob's morning voice rang throughout the room, giving Sophie a bit of a fright.

"Jesus, you scared me! How long have you been awake?" She asked with a soft smile on her face, looking down at the sleepy boy.

"When you started rubbing my arm. Your nails are longer than you think." He chuckled.

"Shit, sorry, babe." She laughed guiltily.

"Don't be sorry, no harm done. So, what were you thinking about?" He returned to the original question as he sat up in the bed, now brining Sophie into his arms.

"I was just thinking about Rebecca's birthday. We need to plan something for her before you guys hit the road again. I want her to feel special, and I want her to know that you guys haven't forgotten about her."
