Zavala's POV

It's been 5 years since my sacrifice to defeat The Witness and now the guardian has to take up my role as commander of the Vanguard. I'm sorry Ikora but this was the only way. As i floated through the endless void I suddenly felt a soft feeling of a bed underneath me. I open my eyes for the first time only to see that I'm in a strange room with weird posters on the walls.

Me: What in the travelers name?

I realized my voice has also changed to a young man and soon I see a mirror on the wall only to my shock as I am now a young boy in a blue onesie. If Cayde was here he'll never let this down. I was surprised to see that I am now human but a young blonde haired boy. Is this the Travelers doing or something else? I got off the bed and approached the window over looking a town filled with life all over and saw some people with... animal parts? Just then someone barged into the room and i immediately turned around and tackled the intruder without hesitation. As I tackled the assailant i can see her expression was mostly surprised.

Sister: Wow little brother. Never knew you were so active.

Sister? Was this person my sister? I need to play along till I figure out what's happening.

Me: *gets off* Sorry sister I was just... thinking if something else.

Sister: It's ok little bro, your big sis will keep you safe. Oh by the way breakfast is ready.

Me: Thank you.

End POV

As soon she leaves he sees his armor appearing out of thin air including his weapon the Origin Story. He decided to put on his armor and weapon and heads downstairs. Upon going downstairs he sees two other people at the table eating. He sees a dark skin woman and a child. He later found out that his sister is name is Saphron and her wife is Terra and their child is Adrian. They were curious on where he gotten the armor he just said a friend gave it to him.

Saphron: So little brother. Got any plans for today?

Zavala: ...I've been thinking on exploring the world. Finding my purpose.

Saphron: Wait you're thinking of leaving?

Zavala: Yes. It's time that I leave and see if anyone needs my aid.

Saphron: But Jaune you don't have any combat experience!

Zavala: ... I've been training in... secret. So please I promise I'll return when I am able.

Saphron: ... You've changed little bro. You seem more confident than usual?

Zavala: Let's just say that it's time that I change. Plus * gets up* I am a guardian after all.

As soon as he leaves the table both girls were confused on what he meant by guardian. In his new room he grabbed his gear and set off to find a new purpose or to learn of this new world. He hugged his new family goodbye and was now off to make a new life for himself as a guardian. His first plan was to make the vanguard once more but that takes time and money, mostly money. He went to the nearest train station and bought himself a ticket to Vale which he heard is a perfect place to start a new life. He waited at a bench for the train to arrive only to see that there is only one person in the station he's in. A women with red hair and a cape on next to him.  He decided to make a conversation with her to pass the time.

Zavala: Lovely weather we're having.

Red: Huh oh uh yeah it is.

Zavala: You know is been quite some time since I've been in a place so peaceful.
