Elizabeth POV:
When science was over, Anna and I shared numbers before walking to our homes. I got a text from Levi asking about my day at school, which was funny because I knew I would see him in the house to tell him about it.
I spotted Zack in the car with his friends, talking, and I started walking slowly; I still didn't want them to notice me. When I finally got to the car, I quietly waited for any of them to notice me, which they didn't, by the way. Rolling my eyes at them, I cleared my throat.
"Can you please unlock the door for me, Zack?" I mumbled quietly, feeling sleepy for no reason.
The group stopped talking before turning toward me.
"How was your day, princess?" Teo asked, making me smile at him.
"Went well, I made a friend," I stated happily while trying not to jump with joy, which made the boys chuckle.
With a nod, Teo came to my side and gave me a high five, then waved at me before saying, "See you tomorrow, princess." He walked to his car, and Zack's eyes watched him as he walked away. Then all the boys looked at Zack like they were expecting him to do something.
"Go to him, you puck," Mikey, the ginger-headed boy, said while glaring at Zack.
Zack just looked at them and then at me before shaking his head. We all rolled our eyes.
"Just go; I don't mind waiting for you, big bro," I said, giving him a little push.
He looked at me, surprised like he was wondering how I knew what they were talking about.
"What, we both know you like him," I said, cocking my head to the side.
He was about to say something when Austin kicked his ass, making him yelp, and all of us laughed at him.
With that, he walked away, mumbling insults as he went.
"Well, let's hope they work out together," Mikey says, then receives nods from the three of us.
"Also sorry we haven't introduced ourselves to you, Eli," Mikey says, giving me a little smile.
I waved my hands around, telling him it wasn't a big deal, before giving them a little smile.
"Well, I'm Mikey, and that's Austin and James," he said, pointing at the other two who just nodded in my direction.
With a nod of mine, we silently watched the two lovebirds smiling together.
"They are so gonna mess with each other tomorrow," James said before laughing, while we all followed suit.
