I tried getting up from my bed in the morning but I couldn't move.

I felt something heavy on me so I opened my eyes to find none other than Carter laying on top of me with his face buried between me neck and chest, his arms circling my waist and his legs entwined with mine.

I tried to push him off so I can get up but he just held me tighter.

Realising that pushing him off won't work I started running my fingers through his hair "carter, love, i need to get up".

"mhmm" he just buried his head deeper.

He kissed my neck lightly and murmured in his morning voice "baby go back to sleep, please".

I kissed his forehead and felt him smile against my neck "i need to get up tho".

"but i wanna cuddle" he whined and held on tighter.

"carter i love you but i need to get up, it's 1pm we've already overslept" I told him.

"finee" he sighed loudly then added an "i love you too" quietly before letting me go.

As soon as I got up he called my name and said "just give me a kiss first".

He started making kissy faces and he just looked so adorable so of course I went back to give him a kiss.

As soon as I was in reach he pulled me into him and started kissing all over my face.

He then held me tightly and said "i literally love you so much", I told him that I love him too but he just said "no i don't think you understand how much i love you, i don't even think forever is enough time to show you how much i love you".

I kissed him passionately -hoping it explains to him that I feel the same- before giving him a soft kiss on his forehead "i love you too. i'll go make you some breakfast okay love?".

He smiled at me softly and sleepily said "thank you darling".

I made pancakes for the both of us and we just watched a movie and cuddled afterwards.
