My husband is the CEO of a company, so he's constantly busy in his office. I come in at least 3 times a week to have lunch with him.

He's usually back home by 8-9pm, he tries to come back earlier whenever it's possible, however it's almost 11pm right now and he's still not back so I decided to give him a little visit and check up on him.

I take a cab there so I can drive his car back if he's too tired.

Once I reach there I go directly to the elevator pressing on the 25th floor.

Entering his office I see him slumped over some papers with his reading glasses on.

He looks up and gives me a tired smile, I can see exhaustion written all over his face.

"hi" he says with the most boyish smile.

"hey" I can't help but smile back despite wanting to scold him for overworking himself.

"it's past 11pm let's go home please"

"i just need to finish this last paper and then we can go"

I go behind his chair and start massaging his shoulders to get some of the tension off. He groans, leaning his head back, and relaxing.

I take his glasses off and start massaging his temple and running my fingers all over his face, from his cheekbones, down his nose, to his lips. Then I go back to massaging his shoulders.

He leans his head back and puckers his lips, I let out a little laugh then lean down as if to kiss him only to stop at the last second.

"promise me we'll go home after this paper or no kiss for you"

"we'll leave now if you want, just kiss me please" he looks at me with pleading eyes.

I lean down the rest of the way, kissing him. He sighs and I can almost feel all his worries leave him.

"thank you, i don't know what i would've done without you" he says sincerely as he turns his chair around, takes my wrist, and pulls me to his lap.

We stay like that until he's done with the paper before we finally get up to go home.

As I expected, he was too tired, so I told him to become my passenger princess for the night and let me drive. He tried to argue for a bit but eventually relented.

Reaching home we took a quick shower, had some light dinner, then headed to bed.

just, life's been happening and i didn't have that much time to write + writer's block (leave ideas/requests please)
no excuse tho so please forgive me 😞
i hope y'all have been doing well :) 🫶
i'll try to upload more frequently in sha allah!
also wattpad has been weirdly lagging and it's hard to write, it's like i can't scroll down while i'm writing so i'm basically blind to what i'm writing until i'm done writing it and i can't select the text easily and stuff like that, don't know what's going on but i hope it gets fixed soon :/
