 - You do have a quirk, Izuku.

All for one giggled, watching as his kid sparkled in the dark of the dungeon, that was the simplest quirk he had there, that's why he had picked it to show his child what to do, but he didn't expect it to actually work! This... Was insanity. How was that even possible? He had plenty of children, but they would always manifest a random quirk. Izuku, was an exception. He thought the boy was quirkless. He should've known better.

- I... Have a quirk?... I... Could've just taken it?... A-All this time?...

- I should've realized it sooner - The eldest man giggled a bit, that was nothing short of a miracle - You weren't obsessed with quirks before you were four, and your notebooks started when your classmates got their quirks, I was just too caught up in my fighting All Might to notice...

- But... The X-ray...?

- You believe an extra joint is proof of being evolved? - The tone was humorous, jokey - Your quirk is ancient, like mine, it comes in late and isn't easy to find out about, you have to know and look for tips actively.

- This is so stupid! I got bullied for no reason!

Izuku cried, and then, Glimmer sparkled, and All for one paused. Heaven's mercy, that hero could still use the quirk that was stolen from her? That was just pure insanity. His child didn't inherit All for one, he had an improvement, one that allowed him to not just steal, but copy the quirk! He wondered how far that could go, then decided they'd happily test it out later, right now he was just excited to see the miracle in the form of a small teen that stood by him. He had gotten the heir he wanted once, and now he had two. He picked his son up gently, considering the tired look on his face as a sign that the new quirk was an exhaustive ordeal, that kid needed to go to bed and rest until they could train more.

They went back to the room he had prepared, sure, it was a little too childish for the young teen on his arms - He had zero sense of time and as such, the extra room he had prepared was made for the child he thought Izuku still was, he hadn't realized his kid had grown this much while he was hiding - But they'd just need to adjust it once that child was mentally stable enough... Well, as mentally stable as a depressed, dissociating, self-harming child could get. He hated the self-harming, but then again, he was always very careful with all the cutting and it never got in the way of his training, and Izuku's justification of "the scars will look so cool!" was slightly reasonable. A villain persona wasn't a bad idea, after all. The silence back at the base was comforting, Shigaraki was also fast asleep at this point, it was the perfect moment.

- Izuku?... - He called quietly, then chuckled at his child's very curious look, he was pretty hung up on his words now - ... I have a special mission for you, my dear. Let's get into U.A.'s hero course.

A letter.

A letter and Izuku was back to being an aspiring hero.

It wasn't the same.

He stood in a line with two other teens: A miss that obviously came from a rich household and had too much of a delicate complexion, and a boy with half and half hair who looked like a fairytale prince even though he had an ice burn scar over his left eye... Izuku might or might not have spent the entire preparation time staring at him, his quirk had to be something interesting, right? If his looks were any indication... The recommendation exam was... Interesting~ Just like father had promised, even though the gym uniform let all of his fucking scars in goddamned plain sight and that was a little bothersome, he should really stop cutting... But then again, his super special quirk was always a very good excuse for the scars and bleeding cuts.
