It was Thursday and dress rehearsals was today. I rolled over to see it was 6:43. Groaning, I peeled the covers off of me, wincing as the cool air hit me. Getting up out of the bed I walked into my bathroom, closing the door behind me. I flipped on the light and walked over to my shower, opening the door and reaching in to turn it on.
Once the shower was running I walked over to my bathroom counter and opened the drawer to grab my hair brush. I brushed all knots out of my hair before tying it into a ponytail, and placing the brush back into the drawer. I then grabbed my tooth brush and tooth paste and brushed my teeth. Putting both things away, I got undressed and stepped into the now warm shower but not before grabbing a fluffy towel out from underneath the counter.
I stood there in the shower, letting the warm water hit my back for what felt forever but was only 10 minutes, before reaching for the shampoo. I poured some into one of my hands, using the other one to put the bottle back. Rubbing it in between my hands, I lathered into my hair, really getting it in there. The feeling of my nails rubbing the shampoo into my scalp felt amazing, goosebumps covering my arms and legs.
Once I felt I had let it sit in for long enough, I stepped back underneath the water, which welcomed me back greatly. Rinsing my hair thoroughly, I grabbed the conditioner and put it into the bottom half of my hair and really scrubbed. I learned that this brand works well for my hair, except for the fact that it made the top of my hair look oily if I put it up there. So instead of returning it, I just put it into the lower half of my hair. Once the conditioner was all rinsed out, I shaved and then turned the shower head off.
I squeezed all water out of my hair before I opened the door, and grabbed my towel that I had placed near by.
Bringing it into the now, off shower, I wrapped it around my body tightly and braced myself for the cooler air that was about to hit me. Counting down from 3, I stepped out of the shower and closed the door. Walking over to the bathroom door, I grabbed my robe and swapped it with my towel. Instead of placing my towel in the laundry basket, I put my hair in it to dry.I opened the door and walked into my bedroom, crossing over to the other side to pick out my outfit from my closet.
Now, to help you picture my closet, picture the image of the closet posted a few chapters back.
Now, picture a line going down the middle.
On each side f the entrance, there's a door.
Picture yourself standing in the entrance to my closet.
If you were to turn left or right, keep at least one of your shoulders pressed against the wall.
Say you turn right, your right shoulder with be touching the wall. If you were to turn right and take 15 large steps, (your shoulder still touching the wall) you would come to a door way.
This door leads to another room but smaller.
Inside the room in a mini closet for shoes, jewelry and bags. There is another room like this on the left side of the closet, directly across- mirroring it.
Now that you know what my closet looks like I can finish explaining with out worrying about confusing you.The closet I say has an invisible line going down the middle because when you walk in the left side of the room has no colorful clothes. It's all different shades of black, Grey, brown and white. Even the mini room. The right side is all colour, the mini room included. I would explain but it would be a long story.
Today I was feeling more dark colours so I turned to the left side and went to pick out my clothes.
In the end I went with brown pants, black top, black belt with a gold buckle, and white Nike shoes. Bringing my clothes back to the bathroom, I got dressed into them and began my hair and makeup. I put my hair into a 'messy' bun and did my makeup, which was a green eye shadow, with gold in the corners, with a red lip. Turning out the lights in the bathroom and my bedroom, I made my way down to the kitchen. I quickly made myself something to eat and then loaded my dishes into the dishwasher. I then grabbed my bag which with held all the important necessitates.
