A/N: Sorrry guys, this is going to be a short chapter...but there is gonna be another one right after it ^.^
"What do you want?" I snap.
"Well, excuse me for wanting to spend some time with my new neighbor." He says in a mocking tone.
"No seriously, what are you doing here?" I ask in no mood for games.
He sighs. "Fine, my mom sent me over to make sure you're okay. You practially flew out of there."
I slowly nod, not believing his story.
"No really...I would not come here by my own choice...trust me." He says.
Now I start to believe him. I don't even know why I doubted him in the first place. What would even be the reason he came by on his own choice?
"So...you okay?" He asks awkwardly.
"Fine." I reply, very out of it.
"Alright...I'm coming in." And before I coud stop him, he pushes past me and makes himself comfortable on the couch.
I stand still, shocked at how quickly that all happened. I sigh and give up, closing the front door and sitting on a different couch across from the one he is lounging on.
"What's wrong?" He finally asks after my third sigh within a minute of silence.
"My mom just...everything with her is business..." I start.Nathan looks at me, knowing there is a second part to that sentence. "...Even me." I finish.
He nods understanding, "I know what you mean. Everyone my mom basically talks to has something to do with Jay. Jay this, Jay that. That woman has no control! She would never believe he would ever do that." Nathan says, mimicking his mother when neccessary oddly well.
"Well...do you believe he would ever do that?" I ask hesitantly.
He breathes out and stares straight ahead blankly. "I--believe--" He starts, having trouble figuring out how to word it. "That--Jay couldn't handle the pressure of everything and just--snapped."
"So you do believe in your twins' guilt?" I ask incrediously.
I would stand up for my twin no matter what she/he had done.
Wait...are they identical? Nahh, I have seen pictures of the court case and crime in the newspapers and magazines. They look nothing alike.
"I believe--he hd more to lose than he thought."

Nathan and I stayed up half the night talking about Jay. Nathan believes in Jay's guiltyness, he explained Jay was under too much pressure; his perfect grades, perfect reputation. And you know what? I actually kind of agree with Nathan's theory. I know I'd probably break under all these things.
My mom walked in at 2 AM like a zombie, and when she saw Nathan, she jumped up and I can already see something forming in her eyes. Concer, happiness, relief, confusion, disappointment...they have all mushed into onr now. So I don't care what she thinks.
SHE is the one who comes home at 2 in the morning after tricking me into going to a business dinner with my new nieghbors.
There is a reason work is away...IT'S NOT AT HOME! But now I go to school with her work, and it lives a block away from me.
YAY.
And usually her work doesn't involve me.
But I think this work has a mind of its own.
And it has got it's eye on ME.
