Selena POV
I slam my alarm clock off and groan. I lazily swing my feet over the side of my bed and stand. I end up collapsing because my knees spaz out, not used to the sudden weight. I climb back up and shuffle my feet on the floor to the bathroom.
Thirty minutes later, I am finished in the bathrrom, dressed, straightened hair, eaten waffles for breakfast, and jacket on.
"Bye mom!" I yell and run outside to my bus stop.
I'm not in a rush, actually I have a bunch of time. But a) I'm ignoring my mom and b) I like getting to my bus stop early to listen to music and watch the field while sitting on a rock.
I reach my stop and start listening to music and look for my rock:

I sing Cher Lloyd's Superhero. I love this song! I walk around looking for my rock and see Nathan sitting on my rock.
God, does this boy have to be everywhere in my life now?
And then I realize Nathan isn't alone, he is talking to someone. I pause my music and quietly take my earbuds out of my ears and zip it up in my bag.
I hear: "Are you sure you want to do this?" Nathan asks.
"HEY, you did it...why can't I?" A snappy voice bites.
"Well...it's different. You know that. My case is...motivated." Nathan replies hesitantly.
The other person chuckles sarcastically: "You got that right. You're lucky we feel the same way and that I went along with it. If I get caught--"
"We ain't ever gonna grow up
We just wanna get down
Tell the DJ turn it up real loud
No we'll never grow up
And if we had our way
We would do this everyday"
My phone rings.
FUCK!
I quickly jumble to get my phonee, but it's too late. They already heard me.
"Hello?" I snap into my phone.
"Well good morning to you to sunshine." My mother replies back, just as aggravated.
"You want something?" I say, sounding more like a statement than a question.
"Yes dear. Why haven't you woke me up. I have a very busy day today."
"You'd think she'd thank me for letting her get her rest but nooo.
"You loked peaceful sleeping. I didn't want to wake you." I said, which was not a complete lie.
"Well you should have." She scolded.
"Alright well byeee my bus is here." I say and she starts to protest but I hit the end button.
I get up from the dirt and see Nathan and the person he was talking to. And holy shit was I not prepared.
"Hello again Sel," Alex purrs.
Oh boy, here we go.

The bus ride could not have gone slower.
The whole time Alex followed me to the back of the bus and was listening to my conversation with my friends and was flirting.
And the fact that he is not all that bad looking didn't help.
I had to practically slap my friends out of his spell.
I slam my locker shut and go to my first period English and sit down in my seat.
The bell rings and the teacher says, "Hello everybody!" cheerily. "I have a surprise for all of you!"
We all look at her expectantly. "Even though he is a junior...he is in advanced English so we'll treat him the same of course ...Everybody lets welcome..." She says making a dramatic pause and drumroll, "ALEXANDER!"
And in comes Alex.
