- 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 -

Over the next few days, Y/n began avoiding Tom, even in potions class when they had to sit next to each other, or work on their potion together.

She would occasionally look over at him, but after there first "date" had went wrong, she never thought she could go out with him again.

Dinner time hit and y/n sat with Cho, 1 of her closest friends. Luna didn't want to go to dinner tonight and she was looking for Nargles.

She started off by talking about her day, school, people, and then turned the conversation into 𝐓𝐨𝐦.

The same one she's been trying to avoid for the longest time.

"So, Y/n," Cho started. "have you started talking to Tom yet?"

"Um, no, not really, why?"

"Well, I mean he is staring over here."

"What?"

Y/n turned to look back and Tom had looked away.

"Well, no. I haven't, and I don't plan too."

"I talked to him earlier, it seems like he regrets what he did." Cho started. "I mean, he looked kinda upset that you haven't talked to him."

"You talked to him? What? What did you both say to each other?"

"Relax, relax. He stopped me in the hallway and started asking me about you." Cho said as she ate her food. "I think he wants to try again y/n, he seems like a sweet boy. I think you all could work out eventually."

"Well, I don't know yet. If he wants to talk to me, than he can do it. I'm not going to start the conversation first."

"I don't know y/n, just talk to him. He barley did anything wrong..."

"He actually did a lot wrong. I could have gotten hurt Cho! It was midnight for god sake!"

"But the important thing is you didn't get hurt."

"Still, I could've."

"Your just being overdramatic Y/n, I think he deserves a second chance. He's really sweet you know."

"What? I'm being over dramatic? Do you not care about me enough to notice that what he did was wrong?"

"Your being annoying Y/n, get over it already."

"Whatever Cho, see you later." Y/n said as she stormed out of Great Hall, the doors shutting behind her.

Quickly though, Tom hurried out of the doors before they shut completely.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her in front of him.

"Why have you been ignoring me?"

"I don't know, remember Hogsmeade?"

"I'm sorry about that Y/n, but please, let's just try again."

"I'll think about it. Just leave me alone for now."

"Think long and hard please."

Y/n walked away and Toms eyes followed her. He than headed into the Great Hall again.

Few days pass and Y/n and Tom are back on talking terms.

They walked through the corridors together to every class, dinner, breakfast, and study hall.

"Well, you did mess up that ingredient." Tom said smiling.

"No way!" Y/n said giggling.

"You put too much of those spine thingys!" Tom said.

"Well to be fair, those "spine thingys" were very small." Y/n said, smirking.

"So, another hogsmeade trip is coming up..."

"Yes ill go with you." Y/n said annoyed. "But don't let the same thing happen again."

"I pinky promise it won't." Tom said

"Good."
