Some people walk into your life,
It seems like fate, like they're meant to thrive,
But not all who come, are meant to stay,
Some are just passing through, for a day.
They may drop you off, where you need to be,
But then they go, leaving you to see,
That they were never meant to walk with you,
On your journey, through and through.
It may hurt, when they leave you behind,
But sometimes it's for the best, you'll find,
For they were never meant to be,
A part of your destiny.
So don't hold on, to those who go,
Let them leave, let them flow,
For there are others, who will come your way,
And walk with you, through every day.
So cherish those, who stay by your side,
Through joy and sorrow, they'll abide,
For those are the ones, meant to be,
A part of your journey, through eternity.
