The journey to be happy,
Is it really worth the effort?
Or is it just a fantasy,
That's too hard to uncover?
The pain we feel, the tears we shed,
It's all part of the journey ahead,
Sometimes we feel happy, sometimes we don't,
But is it really worth it, is it just a hoax?
The weight on our chest, the hurt in our heart,
It's easy to get stuck, and never depart,
But we live in a world, where we're told to move on,
To forget the hurt, and to carry on.
But what if we're the problem,
The one who's causing the pain?
What if we're deceiving ourselves,
And we're driving ourselves insane?
Or maybe it's them, who's playing us,
Making us feel small and insignificant,
But we have to take a journey,
To find our way to the light, so radiant.
It's not easy, to find true happiness,
But it's worth the journey, to find your bliss,
Love is pain, and life is too,
But what matters is what you do.
So take the journey, to find your way,
To remove yourself from the pain, and to stay,
Because happiness won't come to you,
You have to go to it, and make it true.
