From afar, I see her pain,
Lost in relationships, so vain,
Male validation, her only goal,
Toxic habits, taking a heavy toll.Talking behind backs, always assuming the worst,
Being in charge, and always the first,
Complaining about everything, but never finding peace,
A never-ending cycle, that won't seem to cease. She lost her best friend, in the midst of it all,
Choosing the guys' side, causing her heart to fall,
Blinded by wanting to be wanted, not need,
Afraid of losing affection, she's led astray indeed. But I still want the best for her,
To find happiness, and to find a cure,
To let go of the toxicity, and the pain,
And find inner peace, once again. To let go of the competition, and the need to be in charge,
To stop assuming, and to take a step forward,
To be kind, and true, to those around,
And in doing so, true happiness can be found. It won't be easy, to break the toxic cycle,
But I'll be here, to help her find her smile,
From a distance, I'll continue to care,
Until she's ready, to find her way there. For we both need to work on ourselves, separately,
To find happiness, and to be truly free,
And when the time is right, we'll meet again,
As two strong women, who've found their calm within.I'll support her, from afar, with love and grace,
And hope that someday, she'll find her place,
And when she's ready, I'll be here,
To welcome her back, with open arms, so near.
