Exit PlanIt was nice o'clock and Ivy had arrived at the address Austin had sent her, she was standing near the alleyway that she had found Olivia's earring in the day before. Caitlin was parked down the end of the street as Ivy waited for Austin to arrive. By the time Austin had arrived it was nine thirty.
"Hop in" he demanded as he pulled up beside her and opened the car door.
Ivy climbed into the passenger seat and shut the door behind her, she could feel her heart beating in her chest as they both sat in silence. Ivy just hoped that he wouldn't notice Caitlin following close behind them.
"It's nice to be this close to you without you causing such a fuss" he spoke first as Ivy looked over at him.
"I agree I've missed talking to you" she answered politely as he stopped at a red light.
"Why are you being so nice all of a sudden it doesn't feel genuine" he asked her as she looked down to the ground.
"I honestly don't know how to answer that question... I regret the way I treated you and the more I think about it and how you must have felt I feel terrible for what I've done to you but I'm also worried about Olivia... she's my best friend and I love her very much I just don't want to see her get hurt because of something I did" she spoke as he grabbed her chin and turned her face towards him.
"I won't hurt Olivia... unless you give me a reason too but if we continue getting along just like we are now she'll be fine" he answered as he looked her dead in the eyes.
"You promise you won't hurt her" she asked once more to be certain.
"I promise you Ivy" he reassured her as he let go of her chin and began to drive in the same direction.
The rest of the drive was spent in complete silence, they had been driving for over an hour now and the car eventually came to a stop beside a dark forest.
"We have to walk for about 15 minutes but we're nearly there" he spoke as he opened his car door and made his way around to Ivy's side.
"You ready" he asked her as he opened her door and helped her out of the car.
Ivy stood still as she looked straight ahead at the forest she was about to willingly walk into with her psychotic ex boyfriend who could potentially kill her.
"What's wrong" he asked as she snapped out of her own thoughts.
"Nothing I'm fine it's just I'm not the biggest fan of dark forest's" she laughed as he held out his hand for her to take.
"There's nothing to be scared of I'll protect you" he spoke optimistically as Ivy laughed to herself.
They'd both been walking for over 20 minutes until Ivy could see a small cabin come into view. Austin stopped in front of the cabin as he gripped Ivy's hand tightly.
"I have some rules that need to be followed if I bring you in there is that understood" he asked as Ivy shook her head.
"Perfect... rule number one is that no matter what happens you're not to leave my side do not under any circumstances go over to her okay you have to stay by my side at all times... rule number two don't think about making an escape plan because it will not work and I will kill her and the last rule is simple do not try to escape" he spoke sternly as Ivy looked directly into his eyes.
