Once Butters got accepted into the family, my husband had rescued another lost kitten seemingly ending up near my car. This time, he was being visited by the ghost of one of Hover's kittens that had passed from FKS, Fire.
He took notice upon this kitten and instsntly brought her in. Fire had been reincarnated into her former self in another cat. Again, he placed this black and orange calico in the room with me where I was trying to gain sleep before my security shift.
When I did see her, Fire was alive again. My husband insisted on giving this calico kitten a name that was her own and still respected the life Fire was cut short from.
She also reminded us of our old room mates cat, Cocoa whom had the same colors and coat pattern. Once in a while, we would accidentally call her by Cocoa instead of Ember.
Now, the reason my husband gave her name Ember is a comnection to Fire. I cane up with the name Phoenix because she was a risen copy of Fire but my husband thought it to be a tad too goddy and declined the name right away.
Thus giving her the name, Ember.
Shes a very small cat and her color pattern is really beautiful even for a calico. Quiet in nature and skittish around loud noises, Ember still has plenty of love to give. Always following us around, giving us cute little chirps as her own way to gain our attention. Other than that, she doesn't seek alot of attention butbwhen she does, we always give it to her.Photos of Ember:
