-Saturday morning. It's quiet as everyone is asleep,  though for Sheila not much longer-

-Sheila's phone starts to ring, she forgot to turn it to silent, so it wakes her up. Half asleep, she checks her phone to see who is ringing her at this time on a saturday. It was Gerald-

Sheila: Jesus Christ... I thought I blocked his number...

-She answers it-

Sheila: You woke me up, what do you want?

(Gerald: Well, that wasn't a very polite way to greet me.)

Sheila: Oh, sorry, it's almost like I haven't forgotten that you literally screamed at me to get out of your house.

(Gerald: Oh... yeah...)

Sheila: Well?

(Gerald: Well what?)

Sheila: Why did you call me at 7:30 on a Saturday?!

(Gerald: Oh fuck! right, right. I just wanted to ask if you were free later today to maybe talk things over?)

Sheila: ...what...?

(Gerald: Just thought we could maybe talk things over. I admit I was being a dick and I want to make up)

Sheila: Can you maybe give me an hour to wake up before I make a decision...?

(Gerald: Yeah, for sure! just let me know before 3. Ok bye!)

-Gerald hung up-

-Sheila makes an exausted groan and face plants into her pillow-

-Sharon wakes up-

Sharon: You awake?

-Sheila lets out a muffled 'yeah' with her face still buried in her pillow-

Sharon: Something up?

-Sheila lifts her face up from the pillow to face Sharon-

Sheila: I woke up to a call from Gerald, and he wants to have lunch with me to "talk things over".

Sharon: Is he for real?!

Sheila: Seemed like it.

Sharon: You gonna go?

Sheila: I mean, might as well...

Sharon: I'd ask if you would want me to come, but I think you should do this alone.

Sheila: Yeah, it's better if I just go.

Sharon: Did he say what time?

Sheila: He wanted a decision before 3, so i'm guessing that's when he wants to do it.

Sharon: Oh ok. well I need to take Stan and Kyle to Tolkien's house for a sleepover around then, so I can take you!

Sheila: Really, you sure?

Sharon: Of course!

-Sheila texts Gerald about an hour later letting him know that she will be coming-

-The rest of the day goes by. Then comes time for Sheila to have lunch with Gerald-

Sharon: Good luck, love you.

-Sheila kisses Sharon and gets out of the car. She spots Gerald already at a table-

Gerald: Hey! I didn't think you would actually show up.

Sheila: Well I did.

-There was an awkward tension between the two. Sheila made it clear she wasn't thrilled to see Gerald-

Gerald: So...how are things?

Sheila: Fine. What about you?

Gerald: Yeah, alright. How are my boys?

Sheila: Good.

-Sheila doesn't look at Gerald at all. Gerald notices Sheila obviously not enjoying this-

Gerald: I'm...sorry. For everything. I've been such a dick to you and it was wrong of me to yell at you.

Sheila: Yeah, you have been a dick.

Gerald: And I can tell you aren't very happy with me right now..

Sheila: Really, what makes you think that? *she says in a sarcastic tone, and looks Gerald in the eyes*

Gerald: Sheila, I really want to make up. For Kyle and Ike's sake...and for us. I don't want you to be mad at me forever.

Sheila: I would've eventually gotten over it if today didn't happen. But I'm glad you arranged this, it really shows that you have some empathy under all that selfishness...Sorry, that was kinda rude.

Gerald: It's fine, I deserve it.

-Sheila gets a text from Sharon:

"Sharon: Hey, hon. Just dropped the boys off. Let me know when you're ready and i'll pick you up."-

Gerald: Is that from Sharon?

Sheila: Yeah, just letting me know that she can pick me up whenever.

Gerald: You can go now, I don't mind. I've said all I needed to.

Sheila: Same here.

-"Sheila: I'm ready when you are :)"-

-Sheila and Gerald engage in small talk untill Sharon comes to get Sheila. When she arrives, Gerald and Sheila say their goodbye's and Sheila gets in the car-

Sharon: That was kind of...quick. How did it go?

Sheila: Alright, actually.

Sharon: So are you two good now?

Sheila: Yeah, were good.

Sharon: That's great to hear! I'm glad you've resolved things.

Sheila: Yeah, me too. To be honest it wasn't worth being angry with him anymore.
