Chapter twenty: To be with you

-Sharon gets home from work around 4, Sheila has previously informed Sharon about what Randy told her earlier that day. Now they wait for them to arrive-

Sharon: Are you nervous?

Sheila: About meeting Sandra and Sawyer? Not really.

Sharon: No, I mean...are you nervous for the court thing, about suing Gerald..

Sheila: Oh, terrified, but I'm sure we're in good hands. Gerald's a good lawyer, but I don't think he can get away with this.

Sharon: He better not.

-Theres a knock at the door, Randy, Sandra, and Sawyer arrive-

Randy: Hey guys!

Sharon: Hey, Randy. And you two must be Sandra and Sawyer, it's so good to finally meet you both!

Sandra: It's great to finally meet you!We've heard a lot about you!

Sheila: I can't thank you enough for helping us!

Sharon: I mean, it's mostly Randy. We're helping. He's the one that got his money stolen.

Randy: It's ok, I know you just want to get your sweet revenge for him cheating on you.

Sheila: Pretty much...

Sawyer: Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be able to win over him. What he's done is very illegal, and since we have proof, it's not going to be hard to get him sued.

Sharon: That's very reassuring.

(I have no idea how court or the law works, but to put it simply, they won over Gerald, got Randy's money back, and Gerald is suspended from being a lawyer for some time. I don't know if this is how the real world works, so my apologies)

-This is now after all the court stuff happened, let's say 3 weeks. Randy's happy with his money back, and Sharon and Sheila are glad that it all worked out. It's Friday night, and everyone's in bed-

Sharon: Doesn't it feel great, Sheila? All that shit with Gerald is finally over. We don't have to worry about it!

Sheila: I'm just glad Randy got his money back.

Sharon: Aw, come on! I know you loved the look on Gerald's face when he realised he wasn't gonna win.

Sheila: Heh, I think you're more excited about his downfall than I am.

Sharon: Well, I mean, only because you are-

-Sheila hugs Sharon-

Sheila: You really are the best partner anyone could ask for, you know that?

-Sharon starts to blush-

Sharon: That's exactly how I feel about you, I don't know what I'd do without you.

Sheila: I hope we're together for the rest of our lives.

Sharon: Me too.

-They eventually fall asleep with each other in their arms-

-Next day, Sharon is the first to wake up. She goes downstairs-

*phone dialling*

... Randy, can I come over later, I want to talk to you about something.
