Back to class, everyone had to go. No one could focus. How could they? Finally, it was time for Archeology. There was hesitation before opening the door and stepping into the room of despair. Unlike usual, Professor Ranking was already there, waiting for everyone else. They walked in, lifeless. They knew what they needed to do.
"Oh good! You're all here today!" Professor Ranking greeted everyone happily. They all looked at each other. Dreading what was to come.
"...All of us?" Kiera started. "Can... Can we see the attendance sheet?"
Professor ranking sighed, "Of course, if you'd like." Everyone held their breaths as the attendance was getting pulled up.

Just as they had feared. No Nico. No Holly. Everyone scrunched their faces in disappointment.
Silence. "Uhmm Professor... were... were we always... your only students in this class this year?" Andrew dared to ask the question on everyone's minds.
"Huh? Yeah of course, how silly!" Professor Ranking laughed and smiled as he answered. Everyone got tense and looked at each other. They all had the same thought. Was it even real? It seemed so vivid. It Had to have really happened. But why does... No one remember?
And thus.
Class began.
