Everyone decided to brave the outside world one last time to see if everything would be okay. As the class slowly started filing into the Archeology classroom, Makayla could not go in.
"I CAN'T DO IT! Don't you guys get sick just thinking of entering that classroom??? I feel like I'm going to throw up just attempting to enter the room!" Makayla desperately lashed out while standing in front of the door. Everyone else looked at her in pity. Of course they felt similar. But they had to get over it at some point. Matti stayed outside and patted Makayla on the back.
"Guys I'll stay outside with her today. You go to class." Everyone looked sullen. They didn't know if they could do this without everyone remaining there. It was like a comfort. Knowing you're with people who went through the same experience. But, there was nothing they could do. Class started. Class ended. Everyone barely made it through. They couldn't focus anymore. Who could? Kiera, Dave, and Harp met up with Matti and Makayla after class.
"Guys, I think we have to face our fears tonight. This can't rule our lives." Kiera started. "Let's head to this classroom tonight. Nothing is going to happen. We must overcome this." Everyone looked at Kiera like she was crazy.
"That sounds like a God awful idea, but I don't want to keep living my life in fear so I'm in." Dave said. The first bit of confidence he's had in a while. Everyone else still hesitated, but slowly started to agree.
"Are you guys crazy? No way I can't even go in during the day. Never mind night??? Go without me." Makayla said as she walked off, not turning back. Everyone looked at each other. Even without Makayla. They knew what they had to do.
