The class ended for the day today. Everyone was barely able to focus the entire class.
"Guys... I think we need to talk about it." Makayla mentioned. Everyone looked away. No one wanted to think about what happened. "I think it will be best for all of us." She said, and glanced sadly around at everyone. "Meet me up on the rooftop around 7 today. Sunset. Okay?"
Everyone slowly looked around and nodded as Makayla walked out of the room with Matti. Andrew spoke up first.
"Ahahah, well... hasn't this been a crazy semester huh. Oh yeah. Look, it's Earl. with all this mess I had forgotten about him." Andrew smiled as he picked up Earl, and fixed the hat on his head a little bit.
"Aghsdfhs, don't remind me. I had already forgotten... But it was kinda nice when that was the only thing I had to worry about in this class," Kiera said in a matter-of-fact way while she poked Earl with her finger.
"Alright, well let's meet up at the rooftop in a little bit, yeah?" Kiera Said
"Yeah, sounds good" Andrew responded, holding out his hand for a fist bump. Kiera looked at it then smiled slightly as she fist-bumped him back. "Stay Strong."
Soon it was time to meet on the rooftop. Everyone had gathered their thoughts at least a little bit since earlier in the day. It was a beautiful sunset. Purple and orange and pink spread across the sky as though a famous painter had painted it. The beautiful sunset took everyone's minds off the deaths if even just for a moment. At this point in time that was very welcomed. The dreaded conversation started towards the end of the sunset.
"So... Just to start off with Something Nico really didn't seem like himself when he... Uhm y'know stabby stabby." Makayla started off. Everyone stopped to think about that for a moment.
"Actually. You know you, you're right!" Dave started, "He was moving slowly kinda like a zombie or someone possessed or something"
"Yeahh... and He seemed just as freaked out if not more than us after...uhmm Holly..." Andrew started, but slight silence engulfed them. Everyone just thought about that for a little bit.
"That's actually really true. Huh. But I mean isn't that impossible?" Matti asked.
"You're really asking about the impossible now?" Kiera pointed out.
"I mean yeah. We don't even have a way to confirm any of them were even real!? Like all we have is assumptions." Matti countered back with Kiera.
"But all that... seemed so real... It couldn't have been fake or imaginary." Dave came into the conversation with a soft voice, looking down.
"Dave's right Matti, it Has to be real. There's no way it's not" Kiera went back again.
"Alright guys, let's stop fighting now. That's not helping anyone" Andrew said, calming down the mood. "Leats start heading back downstairs, okay?" Everyone nodded and they started heading toward the stairs.
As they entered the building staircase, the lights went dark. Nothing was visible. Pitch Darkness.
"Guys? You all here?" Andrew questioned, making sure no one disappeared.
"Here." Matti, good.
"Also here" Makayla, perfect.
"Uhm present" Kiera.
"...here." Alright Dave
"Nom Nom" Harp, great.
"Perfect everyone is here. Let us proceed carefully, we don't know what could happen..." Andrew Started. Suddenly a loud Thumping echoed through the stairway. The thumping stopped with a loud CRACK noise.
"What the hell was that??!!" Makayla questioned very concernedly.
"I-i-i I don't know, it sounded ominous though." Kiera frighteningly answered. No one moved an inch after that noise. Suddenly, the light flickered back on.
"Whew, that's goo–"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOD" Makayla shrieked. Everyone looked the way she pointed, towards the bottom of the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs lay Andrew. His head cracked open. A pool of blood around him on the floor. His brain was visible against the concrete floor. His eyes were open in terror, skin a sickly pale white. The rest of his body, twisted in unnatural directions. Everyone Immediately threw up at the Gory visual.
"Quick Get back up onto the roof!! We can't get by that, that's terrifying." Kiera Stated hurriedly. Everyone rushed as quickly, and safely, as they could back to the top of the roof. Completely sick.
"Y'know, I kinda just want to stay up here for the night..." Harp said. Everyone silently nodded in agreement and waited out the night, traumatized once more. Huddled for warmth and comfort.
