I come in the classroom to see what it looks like. Everyone is laughing but Leila. "Why are y'all laughing?" I ask my class. "Because she has a crush!" Avi laughed, pointing at her ex-friend, Gabbo Hehe (nickname). "Just because she has a crush doesn't mean you had to shout it out, Avi, stop being toxic!" Growled Marley Bo, Leila's 12 year old brother.
"I'm going to get Mrs. LaMotte," I grumbled. I ran out into the hallway, where she was standing still as a statue. "Mrs. LaMotte," I stutter. She turns around. "Yeah?" She asks. I explain what's going on in the classroom. "Oh boy," she replies. "I'll handle it." She walks back in and I come back in too.
"Do not tease people whether they have a crush or not because it can make someone very upset." She explains. "I didn't think it was very funny," muttered Leila, whispering to Avi. "Ugh," Avi replied, "I didn't think that." Marley Bo put his head down, raising his hand.
"You ok?" I ask Marley Bo. "I just have a headache," he replies. "I only got 5 hours of sleep." He whimpered. I raise my hand, shaking it for her to see. "He has a headache and only got 5 hours of sleep," I tell the teacher. She walks over to Marley Bo and they whisper. "I'll get you a nurse pass," replies the teacher.
