Me and Mrs. LaMotte are rushing down the stairs. I reach the nurse's office. "Hi, Nurse Julie," Mrs. LaMotte says. "Hi! How can I help?" Nurse Julie asks. "I have a headache and only got 5 hours of sleep." I reply. My teacher gets up from the chair. "Do you need me to stay with you or leave?" She asks.
"I guess I'll be good," I reply. "Nurse Julie, in case I need her, can you call her?" Nurse Julie nods and Mrs. LaMotte leaves. I go to lie down on a bed in the back of the office, until I hear the sound of rain. Rain. I think. Is my sister fine? I think of my sister, Leila. Is she ok?
I then notice the rain getting louder and the windows aren't as bright as they were. They are dark. "Is there a thunderstorm coming?" I had a phobia of storms, "I think I need Mrs. LaMotte." I tell Nurse Julie, but she isn't here. I begin to panic. "Where's Nurse Julie?!" I shout, "she's gone!"
I try to get people to notice me, but nobody does. I'm trapped in the office. Was this a trap the nurse setup to get me stuck? No, she's a school nurse, Nurse Julie would never do that! I open the door, and rain pours down heavily outside, and thunder booms. I scream, leaving the nurse's room.
I take the elevator, but the elevator doesn't budge. I take the stairs and run to my classroom, pressing on the doorbell, fast. My teacher answers, "Mar? What happened?" I explain everything that happened. "Did you hear her leave?" She asks, I shake my head. "She just disappeared!" I reply.
