I grabbed my inhaler as I took some puffs before going out to recess. I had asthma, so I had to take my inhaler every time before recess. My teacher, Mrs. LaMotte was waiting outside the nurse's office. "Ready?" She asks, I nod. She takes me outside and goes over and stands like she always does, talking to the other teachers.
I go to find my friends, Nadia and Gabby, also known as Gabbo Hehe. "Gabbo Hehe!" I yell over at Gabby, who is standing beside her other bestie, Amelia. You must remember Amelia from the first day. "Hey y'all!" I cry, "wanna play together and help me find Nadia so we can get together?"
Everyone says yes. "Operation: Find Nadia!" Amelia cries. I cheer. Gabby screams yay so loud Mrs. LaMotte screams. "This is the first time I heard you scream." I giggle a bit. Mrs. LaMotte sighs, "I was hangry." Hangry? Oh lord. A teacher being hangry!
Mrs. LaMotte stares for a second, without blinking then walks away. "What in the world?" Asks Amelia. "I don't know! She was the hangry one first." I sigh.
"Let's just go back to Operation: Find Nadia." Gabby cries. Mrs. LaMotte looks back as if she's agreeing with us, she kinda smiles a bit. That's kinda strange. I think to myself, she never does that, barely ever. I get a notification from Tiktok, it's from ANDR3AT1KT0K. The anonymous account that makes me thinking it's Mrs. L.
The hair.
The clothes.
The everything.
But why would a teacher have TikTok? Oh yeah, my fourth grade teacher did. "Operation: Find Nadia is not going so well," sighed Amelia. "I can't find her anywhere. Is she absent? Did you see her anywhere?" I shake my head. Probably absent.

We head back inside and write down our new vocabulary word, it's hearty, an adjective. What was hearty? I think.
