When Master Unduli had explained that the Jedi needed their help with The Council of Darkness, Talia hadn't expected to be working with two incredibly handsome men.

She genuinely couldn't understand how she didn't faint when General Kenobi called her 'darling'. No man had ever made her feel that way at their first meeting. Or ever.

And it intrigued her.

She felt him walking close by her side as she led the group through the streets of Coruscant. He had the bearing of a soldier, controlled and disciplined and quietly confident, his shoulders pulled back straight. Naturally. She could feel he was powerful in the Force, although his signature felt calm. Stable and peaceful, strong and comfortable, but still alert. And it felt so light. It was...odd. Not in a bad way, she just wasn't sure how to feel about it.

She didn't trust Jedi. She found it extremely ironic how they claimed to seek peace and yet were currently in the middle of a war. Not that she claimed to be any better as a person, of course.

"I don't sense anything from you."

Talia glanced over to see Obi-Wan watching her, gorgeous blue eyes fixed on hers, an expression of confusion on his face.

"Hm?"

"Your Force signature. I can't feel it."

"Oh," she returned her attention to where she was going, though she could still feel his gaze on her. "Yeah, that'll be Force Concealment. A dark power. We all learned it to, you know, stay hidden."

"I see."

Some thuds sounded behind them then. Obi-Wan turned to see what was happening, but Talia didn't even have to turn around to know that Zoe and Theo were Force Pushing each other. She could also feel Anakin's smirk from behind her.

"Ignore them, that's normal."

"Really?"

"Yeah, Theo's gonna get thrown in three...two...one..."

A loud thud and then a yelp sounded behind them. Talia gave him a crooked grin.

"Told you."

Obi-Wan shook his head and looked away, but she could see the slight, amused smile at his lips.

"You are an eccentric bunch."

"I prefer 'free spirits'."

He laughed then. It was quiet and gentle, but warm too. Like sunshine. Talia couldn't help but smile in return. She hadn't expected a Jedi to laugh like that, to laugh so easily.

"Wait...you made Obi-Wan laugh?" Anakin exclaimed, a comically shocked expression crossing his face. "How?"

"Because I like her more than you."

Anakin gasped, blue eyes wide.

"You dare betray me? For her?"

"Yes."

"That's funny, given you've known her for how many minutes?"

"Exactly."

"Shall we leave you two alone?" Zoe asked Obi-Wan slyly, glancing over at Anakin. Talia sidled up to Anakin with a wink.

"Hey there, pretty boy."

Obi-Wan looked away from them, frowning at the pavement. Zoe fell against Talia with an exaggerated gasp.

"How could you?! I thought you only had eyes for me!"

Talia wrapped an arm around her shoulders, attempting puppy dog eyes.
