Zoe and Theo were bickering again, Zoe supporting Anakin as they walked. Obi-Wan made his way up to where Talia was still striding ahead, matching her pace exactly. Talia glanced briefly over at him.
"What?"
"You're leaving us behind, love."
Talia cast a brief glance back at the others, then slowed her step. Obi-Wan smiled at her.
"Thank you."
She nodded, casting another look back at the others.
"Theo?"
"Yes?" the brown haired young man immediately looked up from his argument with Zoe.
"I need a surveillance of the area, stat."
Obi-Wan felt Anakin's confusion as his own, but Talia spoke again before he could ask.
"We're nearly there."
"Thankfully, I'm barely able to carry you anymore." Zoe sounded almost out of breath. The reason why Zoe was carrying Anakin, was because his bruises and stiff muscles were caused by stupidity.
Talia was a dangerous woman, Obi-Wan had decided. You couldn't sneak up on people like that. He sent Anakin a slight smirk. Anakin rolled his eyes skywards.
"Theo?" Talia prompted as they reached a row of condos.
"Nothing to report, as per usual."
"Good," Talia took out some keys from seemingly nowhere, catching them in one hand before inserting one into the lock. "Home sweet home." She pushed open the door, leading them down the hallway into a large living room. Whilst intensely decorated with black, red and gold, it felt cramped and intimidating, particularly due to the large monitors on the wall.
Zoe hurried Anakin off to a chair and hurriedly pulled out several of these monitors.
"The information we have is on the benefactors of the Council."
"Wulfric Malimo, mainly," Talia flopped down on the sofa with a contented sigh, folding her hands behind her head. "We've been up close and... personal with him."
"We already have him," Theo explained, leaning against the wall beside her. "Well, sort of."
"Talia got close to him without suspecting, but he's a slippery bastard. We haven't been able to properly extract him for interrogation."
"I left him my number," Talia shrugged. "He's intrigued. Naturally."
"We're certain it's him. Talia had surveillance tech within her clothing when they met a few nights ago."
"Another problem is that he only goes to that hotel on certain days." Talia waved at one of the monitors, which showed a picture of The Altheda Hotel.
"So we can't get it done tonight." Anakin spoke up from his chair.
"No, we need a plan first. And to find another of his favourite haunts."
"Zoe, Malimo. Hobbies, interests?"
"Alcohol, as you know. And dancing."
"Kriff." Talia swore under her breath.
"This is an incredibly sensitive task," Theo warned them all. "The slightest mistake can mess it up."
"Wait," Anakin held up a hand. "Why's it bad that he likes dancing?"
"Because I like it." Talia sighed. Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow at her.
