Meeting the Cast

Laura's Pov
I jolted awake, my body was sweaty and shaking uncontrollably. It was one of my more haunting nightmares, the kind that feel real. I let myself calm down before shakily walking to the bathroom to take a cold shower. After my shower I dried my hair and got dressed. I picked out some black sweatpants and tight grey long-sleeved shirt. In an attempt to forget about the nightmares, I decided to make some eggs for breakfast though I wasn't very hungry. Today I meet the cast and crew and to be honest I don't really know how to feel. Sure I'm excited, I mean come on I get to meet my idols. But I also can't stop thinking about all the different outcomes. What if they don't like me? What if I mess up and make a fool of myself? What if I have another episode or let something slip. My thoughts were interrupted by Tess texting me to tell me she's here. Taking a deep breath, I left my room and started downstairs.

Tess dropped off me at the front so she could go park the car. I was a nervous wreck and started wondering if this was a mistake. My hands felt clammy, and my heart rate picked up when I felt a hand on my shoulder which caused me to jump. When I turn to see who it is I nearly pass out.

Scarlett's Pov
Today we're starting the production of the new Avengers movie. This movie is going to be a little different since it's more based on my character. I can't help but get excited since the main plot is finding out Natasha has a daughter, who were meeting the actress of today. I am not excited however, to have to wake up early to get there. After arriving at set I parked my car and made my way to the front where I saw a young girl. She looked like she was staring off to space, so much so that she didn't seem to notice me approaching her. I put my hand on her shoulder causing her to flinch and turn towards me. She stood frozen in shock while staring at me in. She had long dirty blond hair and beautiful forest green eyes.

"Hi sweetheart do you need any help, you seem kind of lost," I asked gently. The girl shook her head a little before replying.

"I'm waiting for Tess she went to park the car and I don't know where to go," She admitted shyly.

"Mm do you know why your here?" She hesitated a little before responding.

"Yes, I'm the new actor, I'm playing Natasha's daughter," A small smile growing on her face.

"Oh! Are you really! Let me introduce myself I'm Scarlett, which I'm guessing you already knew by your reaction," I said with a smirk as I watched a small blush grow on her face.

"I'm Laura, it's nice to meet you Ms. Johansson," A wave of sadness washed over my body hearing her name, but I quickly covered it up. I have met hundreds of other people with the same name, and yet it never gets easier hearing the name of my missing daughter.

"Please just call me Scarlett, Ms. Johansson sounds to formal," I rolled my eyes making her giggle. My heart warmed at the sound, it was so innocent and pure. "Well, you're probably meant to be heading to the meeting with the rest of the cast and the Russo brothers, so you can walk with me if you want," I offered. She smiled and nodded her head. We walked into the building and made our way to the room where the meeting was being held. I opened the door for us both and I could see her hesitated for a moment before walking in.

Laura's Pov
As I walked in, I felt everyone's eyes on me. I couldn't tell if it was because I was a child or because I was with Scarlett Johansson. Before I could say or do anything stupid Chris freaking Evans spoke up. "Hey Scar, who's the kid?" If Talia were here, she would die. It's fair to say she has a decent obsession over him.

Before Scarlett could reply, Joe Russo stood up. "Ok, can I get everyone's attention please?" He said making everyone stop what they were doing and turning their attentions towards him. "This is our newest Marvel actor Laura. She will be playing the role of Natasha's daughter Ali Romanoff," he finished making me die inside, I despise when all the attention is put on me. I stood there awkwardly as everyone smiled at me and went back to talking.
