Jack wakes up to find his mother in her home office she's doing bills. Jack crawls up to her and says hello Helen was fun good morning sweetie. then Jack askes what are those on the wall? Helen respond my college diplomas the first one is my bachelors degree from the University of South Florida in marine science, the second degree is my masters environmental science from the Florida Gulf Coast University. boy mommy you are smart Jack responds. Helen giggles and says no mommy just work hard . Jack looks at his mom again and ask her no who are the people in the picture? Helen looks at the picture and then look sad she takes the picture of the wall walks over to Jack picks him up they sit on the small sofa in the office. Helen shows Jack the picture and points to the two people in them this one here is my mommy her name is Mary and the man next to her my daddy John Francis Brian. Jack looks up at her and asked why are you sad? and where are they? Helen wipes away her tears and says they passed away in a motorcycle accident 2 years ago. Jack hugs his mother he says he is sorry. Helen tells him that his mother and father look down on them from heaven and she believes that her mother and father are the ones who brought Jack to her with the oceans assistance. Helen tells Jack how his grandparents met . how much they loved her and how they started the shack and restored the lighthouse that now keeps everyone on the island safe. Helen explains how she is hope to always save the environment in the ocean around the world when her parents passed away she knew she had to return home to take care of the lighthouse the shack and the ocean right next to her home. Mr Cheney a rich billionaire on little Pirate Island has always wanted our home Helen tells Jack. he would love to tear down the lighthouse and the shack and build a beautiful huge mansion for himself and his family Helen tells Jack. Helen been corrected herself the house will not be beautiful it will be a monstrosity and destroy the beautiful ocean. Helen goes on to tell Jack that now he is part of the family mission to restore the lighthouse and keep it to its glory run the shack to help the fisherman and most of all protect the environment and keep it beautiful for the rest of the world to share. Jack asks why she does not have a boyfriend or husband Helen explained that sometimes men see women as objects an equals. and that is it her mission to make sure that he is always treat women with respect care and kindness. He will learn to be a gentleman. If he does not behave his mommy would spank it and give him a time out does he understand jack says yes in response I understand mommy . before Helen let's just go off to play in the house she reminds him no matter what I love you very much but it is my job to teach you the proper way to grow up and become a gentleman and contribute to society. with that she kisses him on the head and places him on the floor she returns to her desk and back to work . Instead of wanting to play jack wants to know if he can help her with her work. She looks down at him with a big smile and says yes you can sort these three piles of paper put the blue with the blue the and the black with black papers. Jack starts sorting the papers but his curiosity gets the best of him he looks up and asks who are those people in those pictures? Helen responds this one is me and Stacey when we were little girls and this one here is captain Sam and my father when they were in the Navy. now please sweetie mommy must get work when go back to sorting the papers for me I will help me a lot jack does as he is told and starts of storing the papers . when Jack is done 30 minutes later he hands the papers back to his mother she says thank you picks him up put him on her hip takes him in the kitchen for lunch
