Friday:
Juvia's POV

It has been a week since gray sama,no gray , and I have been friends. I stuck to my decision of not hanging around him all the time. I stopped going to his basketball practices and mostly just see him in classes and lunch time. I even stopped waiting around to walk him home, I just take the bus and reach home 45 minutes earlier than normal.

But I realized one thing, by not doing all that, I have a shit ton of free time. I mean, i am constantly bored now. I have more time than i know what to do with. Thank god it's friday. Not like it matters anymore. Friday means even more time to do nothing. I am able to finish all my coursework and go to bed early without any strain for missing assignments of upcoming projects, that's how much free time I have. I am currently sitting in algebra class waiting for the bell to ring.I know everything that is going on and I just idly stare out the window. I glance to my left to see Gray dozing off in the class. I giggle to myself. I guess he also pretty much knows everything too.

The bell finally rang and gray got up and gave me a smile.

"Have a nice weekend Juvia! I will see you monday !" With that we parted ways. If it wasn't for the fact Gildarts upped their practices we would have had more time to actaully hangout, like gray had promised. I sigh and gather all my stuff. I sling my bag over my shoulder and walk towards the school grounds. I pass the gymnasium and the pool area. I see a sign that says swim tryouts this saturday at 9:30 am. I should try out, i think to myself before plopping myself under the sukura tree. It was such a nice day out. I decided to just relax under my favorite tree before walking home.

"JUUUUUUVVVIIIAAAA"I hear someone scream my name. I turn myhead to the direction the noise was coming from and see Lucy and running my way with erza and levy in tow.She caught up with me and kneeled beside me catching her breath.

"Thank god we caught you before you went home!" She exclaimed.

"Is something wrong?" i ask.

"No,no. We were wondering if you wanted to joining dance class with us" She inquired so enthusiastically.

"What dance class? Our school doesn't offer that," I stated.

"It's not a school thing.They opened a new dance studio in town and they will start taking new students starting monday, we have to sign up by 5 pm Saturday. They are having an open house from noon till 5 to inaugrate it." said Levy.

"What kind of dance?" i asked slowly getting intrigued.

"Well apperently all kinds, from belly dancing, to salsa, tango and so on. Each month its something different! They have a beginners class, to help start and get better! We should all so!" Erza firmly stated.

"That sounds interesting, when are the classes?" I inquired.

"Its tuesday and thursday from 3-5 pm and saturdays from 9-11 am. we should go juvia!" Levy said excitedly.

"Ok, Juvia will come to the open house on saturady. Juvia was planning on trying out for the swim team, they are having tryouts on saturday, Juvia will join you guys there directly." I told them.

"Ooo you are trying out?? well then we will come support you! After that we can all go to the stuio together!" Lucy said.

"Thanks you guys, that means a lot to me" I reply blushing.

"How come you never tried out before Juvia? I mean you been here for almost 2 years" Levy asked me.

I hung my head in shame before replying " Juvia never really had time becuase Juvia spent all her time stalking gray. Juvia realizes she has way too much free time being split from him"

"Well then, I hope you get on the team! in the worst case, we all can go to the dance classes together! That would definately get your mind off of Gray!" Lucy exclaimed.

I smiled and hugged my friends. We all walked home together laughing and enjoying the weather outside on this lovely Friday.

Gray POV.

I woke up when the bell rang. I wish Jvuia a nice weekend and run to basketball practice. Guildarts has been making us have practice everyday from 2-5 This is ridiculous. He really wants us to beat sabertooth, the reigning champions for 5 years now. I made it just in time for practice.

Practice was really good. We did a scrimage and ended with a tie score. Defense was brilliant but we need to work on our shots more. We listened patiently while coach told each of us what we needed to work on.

We were listening him ramble on and on when Aquarius came over and smacked Guildarts in the head. We all looked at her bewildered.

"You gave all the people helping me tomorrow detention?!?!?!?!?" She screamed.

"They started a fight during gym class!!!" He retorted.

"YOU CAN GIVE THEM A PUNISHMENT NEXT ENTIRE WEEK FOR ALL I CARE, WHY DID YOU MAKE THEM STAY ALL SATURDAY WITH MARAROV, HE WONT LET THEM OFF EVEN AFTER I ASKED HIM!" She bellowed.

"I uh-" He stammered.

"You better be scared! I told you during the last teacher meeting we had , that I would be taking them to help with swim tryouts! You are not the only coach who wants to beat sabertooth!!!" She glared at him menacingly.

"i can fix this!!!" he squealed. " You four, you guys help coach aquarius" he pointed at me, natsu, gajeel and jellal.

"What? Why us??" we groaned.

"ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY DECISION?" He roared.

"No sir!!!" we all cowered.

"there you go, aquarius! you have new people to help you!" He said sweetly to her.

"Tch; you guys better be on time and not late! I will make you do 100 laps otherwise!" she threatened us.

"aye" we cowered again.

With that she left steaming off the court.

"phew close call" gildarts mumbled to himself. " alright you pansies can leave for today"

We all huddled out cursing gildarts for ruining our saturday.
