Gray POV

   I left her house without letting her answer. I don't want to pressure her into answering what I wanted her to answer. I will let her have the weekend to think it over. I rush to my place to change and take quick shower before heading over to natsu's house.

I knocked on his door several times before he finally came to the door.

"You deaf flamebrain?" I ask irritated

"You are late ice prick, we started without you, we were tooooo busssy having fun to hear your pathetic knocks on the door" He answered rolling his eyes.

"Whatever" I said pushing my way into the house.

Gajeel was already  in the living room sitting on the armchair. The area was already set up with the game was on pause; they were playing super mario karts.

"You finally made it popsicle" Said gajeel. "What took you so long?"

"I made a detour to Juvia's place before coming here metal head", I said sitting down on the bean bag next to him.

"Why are you at her place, you better have not done anything to my sister!" He jumps up angry .

"First off she isn't even your sister, and second i just went to talk to her" I said annoyed.

"She is as good as my sister, we had only each other growing up in the orphanage, and you better have not done anything stupid." Gajeel growled.

Orphanage? I guess i really don't know much about her after all.

"Chill iron head, he just went to make sure they were still friends after he rejected her feelings this morning" Natsu said in my defense.

"So she finally told you eh?I was wondering when she would, I knew she wasn't gonna hang around forever to see if you would reciprocate." Gajeel reflected.

"Why does everyone think she will ditch me just cause I told her I didn't feel the same way???? We will still be friends ok!!!!" I screamed.

"I don't know gray, girls are weird, you can never really predict what they will do and how they react" Natsu said all knowingly.

"YOU TOLD ME TO GO TALK TO HER BEFORE SHE STARTS IGNORING ME!!!" I yelled glaring at him.

"Oh yea I did, how did that go anyway?" He asked smirking.

That dense idiot ! He was the reason I ran over to her place to "set things straight".

"She got pissed at me", I said sratching the back of my neck.

"Duh, you rejected her, what did you expect you moron" Natsu snorted.

"No man, like I told her I didn't wanna lose her as a friend, and she blew up at me saying we weren't really friends and that we didn't know anything about each other. She also said the only reason why I talk to her is becuase we are in every class together. " I shrugged.

"That's true though,"Gajeel said simply.

"No it's not!" I defended myself.

"It is, you don't even realize it, you dense as the ice you make. I have seen you guys talking, most of the time it's about the projects you guys work on or just the class work. Only time you ever talk about something else is when we all meet up for lunch or something. But then we ALL talk about stuff, I have never seen you talk to her about anything other than that." Gajeel stated.

"That's not true, we talked about stuff before.-" I started.

"Answer this then, when is her birthday?I know you know lucy, levi, and ezra's bdays. You wish them every year, not once did you wish Juvia on her birthday even though she waited like an idiot to see if you would" He retorted.

Damn, he was right, I never realized that in the few years I knew her, i forgot to wish her on her birthday,  hell I don't even know when it is! Two years passed and I never wished her happy birthday nor did it even occur to me that her birthday was never mentioned. Wow was I major ass.

"That's what i thought," Gajeel concluded taking my silence as answer to his question.

"Anyway, now that we decided Gray is a major douche (a/n sorry for the language) what did you even say to her dude? She owned your ass in that argument." Natsu asked.

I looked over at the window before replying, " I told her she was right, we didn't know much about each other and that i was sorry. I told her I wanted to be her friend, for real this time, if she gives me a chance" I reply, still looking out the window.

"Well what did she say?" gajeel asked impatiently.

"I don't know, I left, I told-"

"What you just left??? What's wrong with you? Major dick move man" Gajeel roared.

"HEY! She told me she wanted space after i rejected her, i just told her to tell me her answer on  monday so she didnt feel pressured!!!" I sweat dropped.

"Haha you should have mentioned that earlier underwear queen, before metal freak here threatened to beat you up" Natsu laughed, " And why are we sitting around like a bunch of chicks talking about feelings and shit, you guys are such girls!"

We both glared and punched him.

"OWWWW, what was that forrrr!!!! " Natsu roared.

"That was for calling us chicks you wimp"I smirk.

"Who are  you calling a wimp popsicle!!" Natsu screamed.

"Haha calm down before we bring you house to the ground, let's get this party started! By the way where is Jellal? He usually comes over when it's game night" I asked.

"He is on a daaaatttteeeee with erza" Natsu and Gajeel sing out.

"What?? Seriously he fianlly asked her out? About time I must say. Speaking of asking girls out when you guys planning to ask Lucy and Levi out?"I asked.

This earned me a punch to my head and I blacked out.
