No one's POV

It was a normal Monday at Fairy Tail High, nothing out of the ordinary. The gang was in their last period of the day, which was Literature class. They had a good ten minutes left when the teacher stopped the class to make an announcement.

"Alright, listen up class. You guys will be doing a report on a motif on the book we just finished. I have made it easier for you guys, you have to pick the motif from the bowl here. Just pick your teammate, only two people in a group. Hurry up." Mrs. Selene said.

Gray turned to Juvia, "Hey let's do this project together."

"alright, Juvia agrees," Juvia replies.

once everyone paired off for their teams they then picked their motif and sat back down.

"Alright you guys are done picking, I want a rough draft on your thesis by this friday. The report will be due next friday, so I want to make sure you guys have a good idea of what to do before I send you home for the weekend to work on it. You can start discussing until the bell rings, that's is all for today". With that she sat down at her desk and started grading the tests took in the beginning of the class.

Juvia's POV

"Ok gray , our motif is water. which is good because there are many references in the novel Macbeth." I said.

"So we just have to write about what it depicts and the occurrences of it?" He asked me.

"Not exactly, motif is a reoccurring element such as an image or structural component that creates symbolic meaning in a work of literature. We need to take the instances of water mentioned in the story and tie to what it represents in accordance to the story as a whole" I replied.

"Alright, I got it, this is going to take a lot of time though," He groaned.

"We have all week gray ," i said rolling my eyes.

"I have basketball practice everyday!!!" He whined.

"You are not the only one busy you know. Juvia has swimming practice monday wed and friday. The other two days, juvia has dance practice with the rest of the girls ok!"I said frustrated.

"Fine fine, I get it your busy too, so when do you want to work on this?"He resigned.

"We can start after practice today, what time does your practice end?" I implored.

"It ends at 5," He replied.

"Alright we can meet at the tree that is between both buildings after our practice is over, we can go to my house and go over a few chapters today." I said just as the bell started ringing.

"Alright sounds good! Meet you after practice"He grinned and left.

Gray POV

I swear this practice is going to be the death of me. So many warmups and exercises and laps. My legs were sore before we even started scrimmaging. Everyone else also looked exhausted.

"Get off your asses you wusses" shouted Guildarts.

we all groaned and slowly got to our feet.

"Alright we will cut today's practice short just give me two more laps around the court and you can go" He said, and with that he left.

We all did one lap and left, coach was long gone. He wouldn't know the difference. I trudged my way to the tree and sat down. My legs were exhuasted. I glance at my phone, it was only 4:55. I had five minutes before Juvia would come out. I stretched my arms and legs and leaned my back against the tree staring into space while i waited.
