Lyon POV:

We made our way to the Ferris Wheel, I need to thank Meredy for not giving away my desire to go on this ride with Juvia. I owe her one. As the giant structure came closer and closer, my heart started pounding louder and faster. I am running on the adrenaline that pumps through my body in anticipation of the forthcoming events. I am so nervous my palms are starting to sweat a little. I rub them off on my jeans as inconspicuously as possible. We entered into the line that was starting to collect around the area. It was nearing sunset, the perfect time for couples and the like to board this craft for a bit of a romantic escape. I looked behind me and saw that Gray was not amused. Well someone needed to go with Meredy, and I didn't want it to be a stranger. He will be fine. I kept thinking about how perfect Juvia was and how she deserved the most perfect proposal. How should I do it? Time was getting shorter with each passing minute

"Lyon-kun, we are next!" Juvia exclaimed, her voice pulling me out of my reverie.

"Let's go then!" I grinned as I allowed her to pull me into the open carriage.

We looked down to see Gray and Meredy getting into the carriage behind us with Gray laughing at something Meredy had said a second before. I glanced at Juvia to see if she noticed. She has a knowing smile on her lips. Meredy and Gray? That's interesting; I need to ask her about it later. Once they got into the carriage we turned back and sat in our own. She was sitting in front of me and smiling.

"This is so exciting, Juvia has never been on a Ferris Wheel before," She said.

"Really, how come?" I asked her

" Well Juvia always thought Ferris Wheels were supposed to be for couples, minimum two people Juvia means, not like romantic couples. And Juvia never had a person to go with," she said flustered.

" You have so many friends, I am surprised you haven't come to a carnival all this time," I said shocked.

"Juvia has come to the carnival with her friends before, but as Juvia said, no partner. The other girls always had the guys who would go on the Ferris wheel with. Gray was dead set against it. So Juvia would always watch the girls go and enjoy it while she waited at the base with Gray," she sighed

"God dammit Gray, Why you such a dick to her?"I thought to myself.

"Well, Juvia, now you will always have someone to ride the Ferris wheel with," I said to cheer her up.

She raised her eye brow at me questioningly.

"I mean Meredy or I will always be around, So you will never be alone, is what I meant," I stuttered.

"Smooth Lyon, Way to look like an idiot before the actual proposal," I mentally scolded myself.

She giggled at my idiocy. I sighed and we sat in a comfortable silence looking out at the view as the carriage slowly made it to the top. The sun was starting to set as it displayed a splash of vibrant colors among the faded blue backdrop of the sky. The sun slowly setting cast a glow on her face that seemed to make it more radiant than ever before. As breathtaking the view was during the glorious sunset, the woman that sat before me dominated it even more. I couldn't help but just stare at the beauty that was being emitted from her as the colors danced around her and the light hit her in the just the right way that made her blue hair shine with luminosity that was out of this world. Juvia was the most beautiful woman I have ever met. She turned to me with her eyes shining brighter than the sun that was setting in the horizon.
