Ohani Franklin
The young girl sat in class quietly looking around. She wore black loose jeans, an all white long sleeved shirt under her black f1lthy merch with black low top converse. Her curly black hair hung free. Covering a portion of her forehead and stopping a bit past her shoulders.
She heard the bell ring and she immediately stood up. She walked out of the classroom after grabbing her backpack.
She headed down the hall and straight out the building. She spotted her dad's car and hopped inside the front seat.
"Hi daddy." She spoke placing her black Jansport backpack on the floor. "Hey angel. How was ya day?" He asked her.
"Fine , you?" She asked. "my day was good." He spoke. "You hungry?" He asked. "No not really." She shook her head.
"Did you eat at school?" He asked. "Um yeah. Paige's mom brought us food." She lied.
He nodded. Ohani was known notoriously for going days without eating so he had to make sure his daughter ate everyday.
They headed to their home far in Beverly hills. He arrived and she stepped out of the car. She grabbed her backpack and headed inside.
The sound of a dog barking caught her attention. The doberman ran up to the 17 year old and jumped on her. She smiled rubbing his head.
"Hey buddy." She smiled. He jumped down as she walked to the kitchen with her dad.
"Hey mama."
Destiny looked up from the stove and smiled. "hey." She spoke. Ohani walked over and kissed her mother's cheek.
Destiny smiled as Mahzi walked over as well. He placed a hand on destiny's belly and kissed her cheek.
The day destiny attempted to take her life....the screaming she did while arguing with Mahzi and having a manic episode panicked the neighbor and he had already called the police. They arrived a few minutes after she overdosed and they found her. They were able to save her.
Ohani turned around and headed upstairs. She heard laughing coming from the game room.
Her twin brothers Zaccai , and Zeke were talking and playing the game. The 13 year olds noticed her and spoke.
"Your forehead is on ten today." Zaccai spoke. She smacked her lips and rolled her eyes before walking to her room. She shut the door.
Her room was big but simple. Her walls were gray and she had a regular queen sized bed. Sheets were black and she had a small black rug on top of her carpet.
Her dresser was black and most of her vanity mirror was black. She had a few posters up. They were album covers. There was a black rolling chair in front of the vanity. She had an easel with a canvas on it with a half finished painting. She sat down on her bed after placing her backpack in her closet. She lit two candles and sat on her bed. She kicked her shoes off and climbed under the covers.
She closed her eyes and almost immediately fell asleep.
She woke up to noise in her room.
She furrowed her eyebrows and seen her siblings in front of her bed doing something.
She sat up and stood up and realized it was Kahani and Elias who were 6 and 5.
She saw them drawing on the canvas that was no longer in the easel. She was so mad all she could do was stare.
"Elias and Kahani....get out." She spoke. "Why?" Elias furrowed his eyebrows.
"Just get out." She started as she walked towards the door. The little kids stood up and walked towards the door with the canvas.
"This is scary." He spoke before turning on his way and walking off.
She sighed shutting the door. She was so frustrated. She had been working on that painting for so long.
She sighed and shook her head. She stood up and walked to her bathroom.
She took a long cold shower and finally stepped out. She checked her phone as she got dressed in her pajamas.
The sound of her stomach growling didn't even catch her attention. She began getting a facetime call from Paige. She answered the call and propped the camera up as she slipped her pants on.
"Oh hell yeah. I'll eat that shit off the bone." She spoke. Ohani laughed and shook her head. "You can stay away from me." Ohani mumbled as she picked up the phone and walked back into her room. She sat down on the bed and began talking with Paige , her best friend.
Im backkk. 🕺🏾🕺🏾 I felt like this book wouldn't do big numbers cuz we gotta give the last one time but fuck it.
I've had ecstasy in the drafts for a minute. AND this book. Just saying Ohani might piss y'all off a lot in this book.
